I was pleasantly surprised by Swen's! Located inside of Snowpine Lodge, I was expecting beautiful views and nice ambiance but I was blown away by how good the food was! Our server was very kind and encouraged us to split the side of whipped potatoes because it was big enough for the two of us. I appreciated her tip and loved that she wasn't trying to get us to spend more. Speaking of those whipped potatoes, they were the best I've ever had! I would go back just for that alone. The bread is complimentary and my dessert was divine! I recommend Swen's 100%!

Excellent meal. The squash bisque, duck and roast chicken were perfectly cooked and packed with flavor. Beautiful view of the mountains and friendly, impeccable service. Highly recommend.

Had dinner here and it was more than we expected from a small ski town. Reviews were all over the place but per the recommendation of someone before we got into town we decided to give it a go. My husband had the filet and said it was good quality, but not in his top five all-time from across the globe. I had the smoked duck, which although very tasty, did not have much of a smoke flavor. What made our experience was the great service. Everyone from the hostess, to the server (HT), to the food runners, to the worker at a desk by the entrance...just super pleasant and welcoming. Hard to come by dedicated hospitality like there's these days and greatly appreciate their efforts.
After a full day of skiing at Alta, this was exactly how we needed to end our day while waiting on traffic to clear. The food was amazing, service was great, it was truly an amazing experience!!
There were three of us. One of us ordered the pork chop with mussels as the starter. Both were excellent. One ordered the smoked duck. That too was excellent. I ordered the salmon which was good but not great. No veggies with the salmon so need something to accompany if you order that. Wine was quite good.

Incredible dining experience! Alyssa was an excellent server and provided us with great recommendations. The Kabocha squash bisque is one of the best soups I've ever had and my NY strip was cooked perfectly. Complements to the chef and his staff!

Cocktails were good. Every dish we tried was delicious. Highly recommend the mussels and beet appetizers. The chateaubriand and whipped potatoes were excellent. Waiter was very knowledgeable and service was prompt. We dined on a Monday night and it was quiet but still felt like a lively atmosphere. Will definitely be returning!
2nd dining experience at Swen's this vacation. Nothing but the ravest of reviews! The food was top notch, service very attentive. Nice menu. Had a great time. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Went on Friday night 7 pm. Table was ready and waiting for us. Staff was wonderful. Very attentive. Food was amazing! very good. We were very happy with our experience. Highly recommend.
We loved our dining experience. The gluten free baguette with mussels was delicious. The flourless chocolate cake with strawberry ice cream was the perfect way to top off the evening.

My husband and I came to Swens for Christmas dinner and couldn’t have enjoyed our experience more! We both got the Christmas special which was a filet mignon with lobster on top. Truly I might have to say it was the best filet I’ve ever had. It was so delicious and savory! Our waiter was friendly, attentive, kind and quick. Music, lights, tables and chairs were all comfortable leading to a very memorable Christmas meal!
