5th east hall was so helpful and easy to work with. It was also a great value for what we had access to. The location seems a bit off at first, but once you find the location and enter the building, it’s beautiful.
I've honestly lost track of how many times I've stayed here. 😂 This is by far my favorite hotel to stay at! I travel a lot for work and constantly staying in boring hotel rooms gets old quick. There's just basic/boring decor paired with uncomfortable furniture. HOWEVER, THIS B&B has much more thought put into each room. I have stayed in the Rome and Paris rooms. Rome is easily my go to because it feels so unbelievably cozy that I feel like I'm still at home! Paris has been newly renovated so it is very charming inside but it is worth mentioning that there are no windows in the Paris room. I believe only 2 or 3 of the 5 rooms have windows: Tahiti, Rome, and potentially a third room next to Rome (maybe Cancun?). So if you're looking for more of that secluded (ignore-the-world-and-all-your-problems kind of rooms) Paris and Maui are probably better suited for you. XD Some of the best features are: AMAZING beds (They really went all out. I have had to update my bedding at home because these beds raised the bar...), no human contact (this is nice because it removes the formality of it being a hotel and it truly feels like it's your own space), and an immersive experience (provides a unique stay compared to other cookie-cutter hotels). That being said, there are things that potentially couples might not enjoy. For example, there is no door on the Rome room bathroom. I travel alone so this is not an issue for me. :) Now when I travel to Salt Lake, I don't have to put any thought into where I stay...I just check to see if the Rome room is available. XD I definitely recommend giving this cozy little stay a shot. That being said, please don't book the Rome room when I want it...🤪
The place smells like urine
3/5 stars
This was a cute place for a themed hotel that’s a little bit different from your classic hotel thing.
Here are the things my husband and I really liked about it:
1. Easy check in and check out. You simply put in your phone number that you booked with to check in. There’s no check out process so it’s super easy to just keep to yourself.
2. Big jetted bathtub. This is just a fun feature to have.
3. Breakfast was brought to the room in the morning: we put in an order for breakfast and it was super nice to have a hot breakfast without leaving the room.
4. Having a themed room was fun, and it definitely was unique!
Things that we didn’t like:
1. In the Maui room (not sure about the others) there was no window, so there was no natural light. At times this left me feeling a little claustrophobic and it made everything seem dark
2. There’s no thermostat in the room so you can’t adjust the temperature. It felt super chilly at some points and there wasn’t much we could do about it.
3. The bathroom doesn’t have a door, so it’s just part of the room and that felt a little weird.
4. The room leaned a little too much into the theme in a way that felt like it sacrificed some comfort. For example: the floor was meant to look like the ocean and the beach, but the materials it was made out of wasn’t the most comfortable/didn’t feel as clean. And the waterfall shower was cool for the aesthetics, but not super function-you had to huddle close to the wall to be under the water.
Overall, it was a unique hotel room. My husband and I wouldn’t stay in the Maui room again, but we would be willing to give this place another shot at a different room.
This is our 3rd stay, my husband and I love it! It is always clean, rooms are classy and cute. Staff is very helpful when needed, yet we can be here a few days and never see another person, which to.me is wonderful! The breakfast was delicious! Perfect place for some R&R with your other half.
The air condition is insufficient for 200 people in late June, which led to us ending our party early.
Otherwise, a great place for a reception! Would be an amazing place if the AC was updated.
I'm so happy we chose 5th East Hall for my daughter's wedding reception. The venue was already beautiful and just the right size. Plenty of room for guest seating, the buffet, the DJ, and the mocktail bar. The entry way opening also was perfect for the guest book, gift table, and the cake table. We just added our finishing touches of decor and flowers, and it was even more lovely! The staff was very available and accommodating, and kindly helped us in so many ways from first glance questions, through the booking process, and all through the event. It was the perfect evening celebration party for our newlyweds! They even stayed for a few nights in the B&B and loved that as well. Thank you everyone at Knot & Pine and 5th East Hall!
We enjoyed our stay. We love the themed rooms and had comfortable beds. The breakfast is also yummy.
Love, love this place! Clean, professionally decorated, and high quality.
We stayed in the gorgeous Paris room on two separate occasions. It is just SO pretty! Such attention to detail. Magazine-worthy decor. Very nice, comfortable mattress.
Online booking was easy. Texting/email communication with management was prompt and courteous.
The location is just a few blocks off I-15 freeway in a strip mall type building. I did not expect something so nice in such an unassuming setting.
It was a real getaway from everyday life. Can't wait to come back!
So many guests at our reception were impressed with this place! It is a little bit hidden-in-plain-sight and I am so glad we found it!
The staff that we interacted with were super friendly and helpful. We didn’t have any issues at all.
The price was also just right for this event, and the communications were great. Not too many, but quick responses when I had questions.
Thank you Shauna and the crew!

Loved the experience. Felt like we were away from civilization. Haha. Thank you!
The room great the shower heads could use a cleaning the breakfast was a let down cold no sausage needed enough surp for both waffles but other than that really nice would do it again thanks
We’ve been to this facility 4 times so far of our 6 years of marriage. It’s an easy, relaxing, and affordable get away! I like how low key and independent it is. Cancun room is the best out of the three we have done.
I got married here in April of 2025, and I sincerely wish that I could give a better review. When my husband and I first toured the venue, we were so excited--the bridal suite was perfect and we shared our vision with the manager and she promised to make it happen. Flash forward about six months, and we went in for our final meeting to find that the bridal suite was gone, as well as the beautiful doors I had dreamed of walking out of. Instead of a full-sized room that all of us could get ready in, we were crammed into a tiny room with only two chairs. I had a bridal party of 15 people and getting ready in there on my special day was so overwhelming. At no point did the venue tell us about these changes or give us the opportunity to change our minds. While I understand changes in ownership, we absolutely should have been notified and given the opportunity to change locations to something that suited us better. During our initial meeting, we were also told that we could hang anything using command strips on the empty white brick wall. Because of this, I had a custom sign made by one of our close family friends. This sign was the last thing that he ever made and is irreplaceable. We bought command hooks to hang it up and started hanging it up at the reception when one of the employees came and told us we couldn't do that. To maintain my vision, my wedding planner tried her best to hang it on the hooks that were already there, but the hooks failed during the middle of my ceremony and came crashing down. Not only did the sign break into pieces, but it fell right in the middle of my husbands vows. Something that was absolutely priceless to me was destroyed, and I will NEVER get that special moment with my husband back--not to mention the fact that it ruined that portion of our wedding video. What was supposed to be so special and magical is now something that I have spent so many tears on. Not only was I so stressed from getting ready with 15 people in a tiny room when we were promised a SUITE, but my ceremony was ruined because the venue didn't hold up their end of the bargain. You only get one wedding day and one magical moment as a bride, and mine will forever be tainted because of this venue. With that being said, the room was wonderful, as was breakfast the next morning. I would recommend staying here as a guest, but certainly do not have your wedding here.
This was a wonderful spot to spend our wedding night! The room was magical and very well kept
All of the little details made our stay easy and effortless.
