Awful, food came 10 minutes late, impossible to talk to anyone, and the food dripped through the cardboard to go box in minutes. Awful

Usually cafe rio is decent but lately slower then heck or forget a lot of stuff. This location isn’t even extremely busy right now and there is so many people waiting on take out to get there food, we’ve been sitting here for 40 mins waiting for our order to be done when it said pick up was at 6:10… let’s just say we aren’t happy, they rushing orders for the people who are ordering in but taking their time on take out orders. Ridiculous should be equal time for both take out & inside seating! But apparently if you order online you’re not as important. So this is my so called not so lovely review for how today’s service is going! We left and now me, my husband and toddler going without food, they said they’ll refund us so they better cause so unprofessional. Never coming to this location again

I love Cafe Rio, this location is just not working for us. Major inconsistency in portions, food quality has been poor, and service has been severely lacking on each visit. I’ve received internally cold food a couple times and each time I go it takes forever to get through the line. Not many people helping with the orders. Having been in food service, I understand when there are other tasks. This, however, feels like people avoiding serving the line. The few pickup orders I have placed have taken an extra 25 minutes to complete. Costa Vida it is from now on, when in American Fork.

This is the worst location in Utah

Normally their food is great, but it was not that good on this visit. I hope it's just a one-time thing

How do you get virtually everything in in order incorrect? The staff looked confused and behaved disorganized. No clear leadership present. Poor quality checks
They just blithely pushed out orders incorrectly. Can no longer recommend this location in American Fork. The lowners and leaders of this store need to read Unreasonable Hospitality and either improve or sell.
Costa Vida has a much higher rating.

By far, THE worse Cafe Rio I've been to for Service, Cleanliness, all around. I've been to multiple locations in different states. We just moved here & unfortunately this is the closest one to us. Apparently nobody knows how to make the juice there. Empty every time. Dirty tables & floor. They don't seem to want to offer any service unless you speak Spanish. We used to live in Las Vegas so for us to think the Customer Service is bad here is pretty darn low. So unfortunate!

Always out of steak well before closing

The pulled pork has big chunks of fat and bone. Ended up taking most of it out of my salad 🤢

I've been to Cafe Rio a million times and this is the first location EVER there I had to wait for tortillas for more than 10 min lo

Insane seeing it literally takes 1 min to fry them up in front of you. Just super lazy workers, at 2-3 pm apparently
