Generally my family has been fans of cafe Rio for years, but the messed up our orders . Forgetting the salads house sauce, gave us stale chips with our queso, and left a few items off my wife’s bowl… for reference it was an online pick up order. It was easy to pick up which is why they got 2 instead of 1 stars

Unfortunately, I'll have to agree with the general consensus..quality is going down at this location. My Cintro ranch tasted very mayo-eeh. Almost $15 for a veggitarian salad. I won't return to this location.

Worst experience yet at a Cafe Rio.

My wife and I went here on Saturday evening (10/19). The restaurant had mostly empty tables but there was a line for food. Ok. The line literally took 20+ minutes. We ordered two entrees and chips and queso. The entrees were made quickly but checkout was taking forever. The kid at the checkout kept disappearing and leave people standing there waiting to pay. Seems they were understaffed.

After we paid, it took them an additional 5-7 minutes to bring us chips and SALSA because they were out of queso. The kid at the register was told by someone in the back it'd be a few more minutes. So, we waited, and waited. When they finally said the salsa was out I just said to bring us chips and salsa just so we could stop standing there.

However, worst yet though, is that another patron brought a dog into the restaurant and was holding it in their arms while they stood in line and while they ordered, leaning over to talk to the employee taking the order. Nobody said anything. People behind them seemed equally confused as we were (it was a dirty, ratty looking shitzu). We were in front of them but only by a few people. I get that dogs are allowed on patio areas and outside, but inside? in line? at the food counter? at the drink station? ew. (I also get this was mostly on the patron for not following common sense with your dog, but CR employees should have asked them to return the dog to their vehicle or outside).

Today I went to eat at this place, I ordered the roast beef salad, everything was good except the meat tasted more cooked than roasted, but the worst thing of all is that I went to the bathroom and an employee was coming out and she didn't wash her hands, this It made me quite sick, my husband and I feel like vomiting just thinking about this person being in the kitchen touching the food.

The 1-800 Customer service said I could go back to this store for a replacement order for an issue I had... I showed them my receipt and mentioned customer service said it would be replaced no problem and the manager here had a huge problem with that and wouldn't stop arguing with me and asking questions.

Truly awful manager who works here...

Food was horrible, the salad was runny that there was water at the bottom with the tortilla, the sweet pork was blah, the rice was hard and the tortilla was stale. It always a take year for me to forget but this location seems to always have these issues when i order. If i wouldn't have gotten it to go i would have took the food back, it was a wast if $80.

We are out of owners who like to hit Cafe Rio at least once while in town. This time I felt CR has lost a step or two. The store wasn’t clean. Puddles of liquid on the floor, floors sticky. I was disappointed in the atmosphere. Sorry to leave a less than stellar review but there is improvement to be made here.

The last time I went to this location was 4-5 years ago, and the speed was horrible and I left a scathing review.
This last time was the complete opposite, it was fast and good, I walked up, gave my name and walked out, it could not have been better.
Awesome improvement.
