Fong Asian Dining in American Fork is a hidden gem! The food is delicious, with fresh ingredients and bold flavors that truly stand out. From the sushi rolls to the stir-fry dishes, everything was cooked to perfection.

What really made our experience unforgettable was the exceptional service. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming us with warm smiles and going above and beyond to make sure we felt at home. They were attentive without being overbearing and offered great recommendations from the menu.

If you’re looking for a place with great food and an even better atmosphere, Fong Asian Dining is a must-visit! We’ll definitely be coming back soon!

One of my favorite Asian spots to eat. They moved and I didn't realize they had a new location. Food is always good and great variety to select from and service is so fast and friendly.

My husband and I like to come here for dinner when we don’t want to cook and we get the bento boxes. He usually does the honey walnut shrimp and I like to get any of the chicken or tofu options. It is enough food that we bring home leftovers and very affordable. I like that it has good amount of protein and veggies. The service is always good, and the food is always hot and well seasoned. I like that the food tastes like it is homemade and of course delicious. It’s not super fancy, but we like it as a gem of a local spot.

Gives a feeling of run down. Host/waitress has TERRIBLE personal skills. She is not friendly at all and her communication lacks severely. They recently changed their menu and now only offer our favorites during specific hours of the day.

I love this place. Now they have options for traditional Chinese food. The best Chinese restaurant in Utah county.

I’m giving this place two stars to give them the benefit of the doubt, but my experience was honestly so disappointing. After seeing all the positive reviews, I’m left wondering what went wrong for us. The first disappointment was the fact they have a giant sign saying “SUSHI” on the outside of the restaurant AND pictures of sushi that are still published on Google, but the waitress said they haven’t even served sushi in 3 years. The menu also had multiple pages with multiple stickers covering options because they were out of stock.
The service was really slow, even though we were the only ones in the restaurant. The food was so underwhelming that after just a few bites, we decided to leave (though we still paid and tipped). I ordered the broccoli and beef, which was incredibly bland, and my husband got the beef fried rice. He asked for chicken and shrimp fried rice, but the waitress said they couldn’t do that, even though the menu had an option with all the proteins. It was confusing why they couldn’t make that simple adjustment (removing the ham).
To be honest, this was some of the worst Asian food I’ve ever had. I respect the history and role this place has in the community, but I just don’t understand the appeal when it comes to the food. I completely understand that businesses have bad days, but Panda Express does a better job.

Dietary restrictions: They did not make any dietary accommodations.

Fong's has been around for quite a number of years, but they recently sold to new owners. It is still great Chinese food!!!
Fragrant smells, lots of food choices, ample serving sizes, quick service, very friendly and knowledgeable servers. And the restaurant is very clean!
We enjoyed 6 fried shrimps for appetizers.
Egg drop soup and Hot and Sour soup before the entree.
Then we enjoyed three different Bento Boxes.
I ordered Moo Goo Gai Pan (chicken and mushroom in delicious white sauce)
Hubby ordered Kung Pao Chicken (Hot & spicy)
Family member ordered General Tso Chicken ( deep fried, sweet and spicy). All of them were delish!
You will be happy and satisfied if you go her to eat!

Took over by new owner, now have authentic Chinese food, highly recommend! There’s finally a good Chinese restaurant near by without having to go all the way to Salt Lake City.

I'm begining to think everyone in Utah county has no taste buds and wouldn't know good Chinese food if they had it, which is why trying to find good Chinese is so impossible. I've lived in about 7 different states, and eaten Chinese food in all of them, and can honestly say this is one of the worst Chinese restaurants...or any restaurant for that matter...I've ever eaten at. The chicken broccoli was in a take out container filled with so much greasy disgusting sauce that it could have been soup. You could see the grease film floating in the sauce. The chicken appeared to have been old and reheated, while the broccoli was like mush. And they give you the world's smallest container of white rice on top of it all. How this place has such a high rating is beyond me. Even Panda Express is better. The layout of the restaurant is entirely bizarre too. It's almost like they don't want you to sit down and eat there by how unwelcoming the layout is. And if you're getting takeout, they have this random table set up in the front of the restaurant you're supposed to wait at while a staff member pointlessly keeps walking back and forth to the register in the back to get your food and ring up your order. It's almost like they still have it partially set up the way it probably was during Covid.
