I love Great Harvest. Unfortunately I’ve seen several locations over the years since I was little go out of business, and until this location went in several years back, there were no Great Harvest locations within a convenient distance. It’s still several cities over, but it’s usually worth the trip, and definitely worth stopping if I’m in the area. Unfortunately, the business side of this location makes me fear for its longevity and future for staying in business. While the food is great, they don’t seem to prioritize or know how to run the business/customer side of things from my experience. They are often out of stock of many items. Prices are not marked or listed. One time I had been trying to call all day to make sure they were in stock of the bread I wanted before making the trip, because it was so often sold out. I was unable to get a hold of anyone all day, I tried calling again the next day with no answer again, and finally just decided to jut make the trip and check. I got there and it was just a one teenager working (typical for this location). I asked him if they had the type of bread, (it was a Thursday) his response was “we make that bread on Tuesday”. I said “okay, do you have any of it?” For which he responded with “it’s Thursday…” I said “okay, so you don’t have any left?” And he again responded with “it’s Thursday.” ???? Okay then. Then with the unmarked or unlisted priced items, I ask (and this is not a singular occurrence), “do you know how much this is?” And several times they’ve come back with “I don’t know.” As a business, that should be followed with “…but I can check!” Not, *period*. I would love to give this place a 5 star rating, becuase the food is great. But to not be able to get a hold of the business , make a trip down, have things be consistently sold out, have terrible customer service, one staff member on site that doesn’t seem to know what they’re doing, makes me sad that it’s going to be another Great Harvest location that won’t exist much longer again. I’m not even writing this to warn customers, or because I’m disgruntled (though frustrated), it’s more in the hopes that the owners will see this and become aware to make the necessary changes to help prevent that from happening. We want Great Harvest to stick around!

Was so stoked to start my day with great harvest but was super disappointed with my experience. They wouldn't make the breakfast sandwich on the cinnamon burst bread and didn't offer me a bread sample. When I asked if they had samples they told me they only had one kind of bread (chocolate walnut sour dough) and didn't have any butter. I usually love great harvest but will never come back to this location. Customer service is lacking.

We walked in at 6pm knowing they close at 630pm. We were told we had 14 minutes. They told us they had closed down anything hot and we could only order off a third of the menu. What happened with closing down after you close? Plus we were there at the dinner hour and were the only customers in the place. We ordered 2 sandwiches. My wife ordered a pb&j and when we got home there was a pickle wrapped up in it. She doesn't like pickles, pickle juice or anything pickle related. She was supposed to be able to choose her bread and was never given that option. I had the "turkey goddess" which ended up being processed deli turkey sandwich meat with lettuce hearts, or the white stiff part, the cheap part of the lettuce you normally throw out. At kneaders they use real turkey. We won't be back. Such a let down on something I remember being good.

Got a biscuit breakfast sandwich and the middle of the biscuit was still doughy and not cooked… very unappetizing

Me and my husband absolutely LOVE this little cafe! We come here as often as we can! The food is amazing and all their homemade breads are so so good!! The husband and wife who own the place are very sweet and always give us the best service! They have also given me free loaves of bread several times which is very sweet and the wife always recognizes us and our kiddos and says hi!! Only reason I gave 3 stars for service is because of the younger woman that’s usually at the register, she’s new the last several months and she is not very nice, rolls her eyes in front of you when you ask her to get something she had forgotten or to ask her to warm something up such as our cinnamon rolls this last visit! We will continue coming here but our hope is that she is talked to about customer service.

Great atmosphere for the store itself. I love the bread and sandwiches, but the customer service at this store is always lacking. I go in a few times a month and each time I’m not greeted, and 2 employees in particular are never nice. I always have to ask for the free bread sample and they are not happy when I do. The bread sample I’m given is always a sliver of bread and they don’t offer to put butter on the bread that is within eyesight but never offered. I grew up going to the Provo store and loved how generous they were with the bread sample and honey and butter. The employees were always friendly there as well. Little things like this make a difference to the overall experience. I like their bread but I’m always sad I don’t have feel welcomed or appreciated as a customer when I go. Photo of bread sample attached.

I bought some donuts from the local shop a couple of doors down to take to my family later. I then went to Great Harvest, made a purchase and sat down. They then said I was in violation for bringing in outside food even though I wasn't eating the donuts and they were out of sight in the bag. The soda machine was flat as well.

Went here for the first time after receiving a coupon in the mail. The sandwiches were fantastic! The service was excellent. Tables were clean. Although we used a coupon, I could tell that the process were on par with their competitors. We left full and satisfied with our experience. Will put this on the list to visit again!

The cinnamon rolls are not cooked all the way through, and the sandwiches are pretty dry. I haven’t had this experience at the Draper location, not sure why there’s such a big difference in quality.
