As a descendant of British miners, I am inclined to prefer all my meals wrapped in bread and baked. Hruska's kolaches has finally ended my search for the perfect comfort breakfast. Staff was incredibly kind and offered great suggestions. I ended up getting the bacon, cheese, and jalapeno and a pumpkin spice. Absolute perfection

Fav spot for years. I feel like this branch is better than the sugar house one.

Delicious
Holy crap! The Bombas Carnita kolache was divine! I’ve had a variety of flavors over the years and this one tops them all. I hope it’s a regular flavor.

This is a hidden gem. Weekday mornings, no waiting. Weekends can be a little busy. Probably not the best for kids who are picky eaters. But for a change from the morning breakfast burrito, this is very tasty.

I never leave reviews but I genuinely had one of the rudest customer service experiences I’ve ever had. I went with my three kids and my youngest (2 years old) was touching the glass and was yelled at three times to not touch that or the magnets. I try to be a very self aware person and aware of my kids but she literally kept yelling at him while I was ordering. He was just looking at the options and happened to have his hands on the magnets that hold up the labels. I was so caught off guard and so disappointed in the service there and how we were treated. Truly blown away. I wish I would’ve gotten the woman’s name that treated us like that but I didn’t.
I’m also not ever concerned about being greeted but when we went in we were stared at and made to feel like an inconvenience from the second we walked in.
We’ve been coming to Hruskas for years at the Provo location but will not be going back to the American fork location ever again. Vibes were heinous.

I was super excited to have my husband try kolaches. This specific shop was so-so. They rolls were kind of doughy. My girls enjoyed the sweet ones but I did not try them. The savory were cold when we got them and the guy working the cash register was very dry. Maybe put someone at the front who can sell your product and likes working with people. I had my previous kolaches from a seasoned Mexican restaurant, so I guess I was spoiled the first time I tried them. I probably wouldn’t come back here again. They were pretty busy, but there was a parade going on. My personal recommendation to the business, put someone else at the front, offer warm options for savory, do combined offers(I would’ve bought more if they would’ve done combined offers), make sure your rolls aren’t doughy inside.

The kolaches were very yummy. I loved the cinnamon one. They had sweet ones and savory ones. They were quite busy when I went in but the staff was friendly and worked quickly.
