La Costa Mexican Restaurant

I felt like we were taken to the cleaners. one item we got was a quesadilla $11. we added chicken. wish the waitress would have said it would be $6. that is more than half the price. a scoop of guacamole $1.50. drinks are $3.50. this place is way over priced. if the waitress would have just said we would have skipped any extras. I don't recommend this place. save your money and go somewhere else

The carne asada here is hands-down the best I’ve had from any Mexican spot in the area — super flavorful and cooked perfectly. The prices are definitely on the higher side, but the quality of the food makes it worth it. My only complaint is that the staff checks in so often that it can feel a little rushed, like they’re trying to move you along. Still, if you’re going for great flavor, this place delivers. Salsa is top tier!

You have to pay extra for chips and salsa… After this policy is reversed to match literally every family Mexican restaurant in the US, I’ll be back. Good people but awful policy

One of my favorite restaurants in all of Utah County! The food is wonderful, the staff is friendly, the atmosphere is clean and welcoming. La Costa is the spot if you are looking for a delicious meal!

Food was okay. The server was nice. But wow, the money grab here was unreal. I went in tonight with 4 adults and 1 three year old. They added a mandatory 20% gratuity to my check, charged a $1.50 fee for chips and salsa, and must have charged a credit card fee because the check showed a cash price vs card price. So beware, they will try to milk every dollar out of you. There’s absolutely no way I got $112 in value tonight. What a garbage and scummy practice.

I asked for red sauce on my enchiladas but they gave me green. House margarita was not bad but not great.

Mary is amazing! She always delivers outstanding service and takes such great care of us. Hands down, our favorite Mexican restaurant in Utah!

Used to be the best Mole in Utah, but they changed their recipe to their own detriment.

Mary was absolutely amazing! I’m also in the service industry and she made sure we had refills all dinner, and plenty of chips and dips and great conversation!

Absolutely fantastic experience at La Costa! The food was incredible—everything was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. From the appetizers to the entrées, every bite was a delight. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, making the meal even more enjoyable.

A special shoutout to our server, Mary, who went above and beyond to make our visit exceptional. She was friendly, attentive, and made great recommendations. Her service truly made our night even better.
