Every dish that our party ordered was extremely dry and cold. Would it hurt you guys to add a bit more sauce to your dishes? I could hardly swallow my food. And the Carbonara was awful. We’ll never go back.

Mastra is a beautifully quaint Italian gem in Pleasant Grove. From the fresh focaccia and pesto to the lasagna, handmade pasta, and panna cotta, everything was outstanding. Even the bread alone was unforgettable. I feel sincerely blessed to have such authentic Italian taste right in my own backyard—this is as close to Italy as it gets in Utah Valley. Every bite was amazing!

A true Italian restaurant that maintains the authenticity of the Italian recipes. It's very close to home, dangerously close. We're forced to return!
The space is bright, sober, and tastefully decorated, with sturdy, comfortable, and well-spaced tables. Near the kitchen, stands the pizza counter, which reminds us, with a hint of nostalgia, of Italian pizzerias selling by the slice. And the pizza is good; I really enjoyed the simple Genovese. The meatballs are good, as is the lasagna, very rich and with béchamel sauce, but the best, in our opinion, is the pesto, closely followed by the exquisite Bolognese ragù, which we thoroughly enjoyed with gnocchi at their stand during the Italian Festival. The waiters are very kind and attentive. It was a pleasure that we'll be returning soon.

We visited their place during the Italian festival. It is the closest I've been to tasting the homemade Italian meal I had at my cousin's back home. It was a complete ratatouille moment taking me to my childhood. Their cashier was really nice and provided great service.

The pesto lasagna was a first timer and it was very flavorful, and the regular lasagna was also very tasty. Gnocchis were good but the sauce a tiny bit on the style side. The focaccia was ok but a bit disappointing, although I'm mostly sure it is due to the fact this was not their actual rest but something on the go.

We would love to go their actual rest and taste other dishes.

Màstra is delightful! Went for lunch with coworkers and we were treated very kindly and served promptly. The pasta is homemade and tastes amazing. We split and shared the Bolognese and Pesto lasagna, and although both were great, I LOVED the pesto lasagna. And I’m not a big pesto guy. Anywho can’t wait to go back.

First time going here and it felt like you were eating in an authentic Italian restaurant! Meatballs were perfectly cooked, and the pesto lasagna was delicious! Everything was fresh and the service was timely. The manager Migey walked us through the menu and gave amazing recommendations. Our server Paige was on top of it as well- the whole team seemed to work seamlessly together. Definitely coming back soon!

Absolutely incredible experience. Migey made sure we had the best service and recommended the perfect meal. The tomato focaccia is a must have to start! Everything we had tasted so fresh and authentic. Perfect place for a night out. We’ll be back soon.

It was an incredible experience! The gnocchi ai quattro formaggi, pesto, focaccia alla cipolla (onion), and panna cotta were delicious. Shout out to the general manager for being so accommodating and friendly. Easily 5/5 stars.
