Maverik Adventure's First Stop

this was my favorite maverick. haven’t been in a few week and when i came back this is what i saw. definitely don’t want to get drinks here anymore. so nasty and there’s plenty of staff when i go. the right one is clean so they obviously know this should be cleaned but just leave it like this instead

They don’t have much food out when all of the other ones I have been to have a lot more food they don’t have that much burritos only 3 kinds and they don’t have much monsters out they need to make more food for people bc it is right bc a manager road

In September 2025, we visited Maverik on East State Street in American Fork, Utah. This Maverik store was clean and well-maintained, and there are outdoor picnic tables to use for picnic meals. Maverik has great murals on their store walls, that show natural scenery of nearby places. The restrooms are clean and functional, and set the industry standard for roadside restrooms. We enjoy visiting Maverik stores and gas stations.

This Maverick is very busy! Lots of gas pumps. I only got fuel. I did not go inside but its Maverick so it had to be awesome!

As you can see from my profile I do not often give bad reviews. I prefer to believe that most businesses do their best and that people can make mistakes. In this case I believe that the parent company Maverik is doing a poor job.

Each week Maverik promotes a $4 deal on their app. A large drink and a burrito, sandwich etc. This location never has any of the items prepared and closes the kitchen on a regular basis at 12pm to 1pm. I realize that different locations have different traffic patterns but this is the only location that I know of that does not prepare any if it all of the weekly item. They are also the only location that closes the Bonfire grill so early in the day and then does not prepare enough or all of the options available.

Again by my profile you will see a one star rating is very unlike me. I am also willing to change my rating. Many if not all your other locations seem to do great. I simply want consistency or at the very least a warning that this location will not be participating in the regular promotions Maverik has.

Great location

Do not repeat do not use this store premium gas on boat motors
Brand new boat motor first fill up and I got bad gas
Boat motor mechanic drained gas out in new gas - no problem other than 300.00 later
Of course Maverick is denying they did anything wrong
My boat mechanic told me they have had a rash of issues with Maverick gas
The insurance adjuster denied doing anything wrong brand new motor first fill up motor won’t run drain Maverick fuel put in different fuel running like a champ
Avoid at all costs unless you want to be stuck

Always out of most sodas, ice, and lids. Never have any grill items in the morning or afternoon.

Maverick is my favorite choice of Gas stations. I love the nitro card, it gets me the cheapest gas in town nearly always. The corn nuts are overpriced like every convenience store, and I buy them anyway. Best bathrooms around!! And they have nachos that take me back like I was in high school again. This time, I saw the coolest car with all the lights. Can't beat that.

I stopped by to grab some late night snacks, and Cory greeted me with a warm smile and kind gesture. His presence made me feel welcomed and happy inside the store. I had no issues finding what I needed, and when I checked out, I had a lovely conversation with him. He offered me a bag and asked if he could help me with anything else. He was very chill and helpful, and made my night. He even let me stay inside the store while I ate my food, and kept me company. The store was very clean and had everything I needed. I’m not sure what this store would be without him. This is now my go to gas station thanks to Cory. He was so memorable and amazing, I asked for his name and wrote a review, something I never do. Good job maverick for Hiring Cory, Good Job cory for being outstanding at your job and as a person.

Half of the pumps aren’t working and they’re not even working on it. Not sure what is going on but that’s ridiculous. You’re a gas station

08-13-24 @0805. Stood at the counter waiting. Employee gave a rude attitude, saying that the other register was open after ignoring me at the counter talking with the other employee. They then proceeded to throw my products to eachother. No bag was offered or given even though I have 8 items. All I am saying is there are better maveriks down the street.

Mens bathroom is completely destroyed

Don’t count on this Maverik I work early around the corner, so I would like to get gas and grab some food. Maybe 1 out of 20 times they might have something to eat. No one is ever working the food counter! Every day dry as a bone! I’ve given up on this Maverik and you should also, nothing but a disappointing start to your day. Thanks for nothing Maverik…..
