This is my favorite restaurant ever. I love the strawberry field roll, the Tropicana roll and the spicy tuna roll. The miso soup is amazing. My favorite server is Mogii and she knows my name and my usual orders. When people come from out of town, I treat them here.

I received an email on Tuesday advertising a buy 1 get 1 half price on signature rolls. Went in with my family and they would not honor it. The manager / owner would not even look at the email THEY SENT and then glared at us throughout our meal- like I was making it up?! I have spent hundreds of dollars at Tapa. Never going back again. Horrible management.

We go here all the time and it’s normally great and always order two green tea shot cocktails. This time the drink was half full, super sweet, and a tiny little orange slice in it. This is a shame because this was my fav drink anywhere when it’s made properly. The server tried to tell us they’re only half full when there’s no ice but they haven’t had ice in a long time. They also weren’t half full. Then two servers come to the table and the blond one wanted to dispute that it tasted different. I can only tell them what I said here. Cheap Sushi Garden nearby is a good alternative if you can’t even get a good drink here. I didn’t even want more alcohol it’s peach and too sweet.
Responding to their reply: The blond lady said she made the drink not the new server. She said this it now has ice and without the ice it's half full even without extra alcohol, and it didn't taste any different than normal, like she'd tasted my specific drink or something lol. This is not worth the expensive bill. I'll stick with Sushi Garden right down the road.

I waited for the place to open. On Sundays they open at 3pm. My partner and I were the first to arrive and when we arrived the girl asked us how many people we were and then the waitress walked away but never really told us to follow her to the table and we stood there being directed to a table and then the girl from the moment I arrived told us that this was our table. It was strange because in most restaurants they take us to our table. After they brought us our plates, everything looked amazing but my sushi started to fall apart, it was very difficult to eat with the sushi in pieces. I wanted to make another order of sushi and the waitress brought us the bill and it was very disappointing as I wanted to continue ordering more sushi but I felt like we were being kicked out. I like to tip but this time I thought the customer service was very bad. The food is good but not amazing, the customer service is terrible. I will never go back.

Got takeout from here on Friday night.Took it home and opened it up, they messed up the majority of our order. Gave us appetizer instead of the specialty rolls we order. We called to let them know and they said nothing could be done expect that they could remake it. We drove 25 mins back home and didn’t want to go back again. I asked for a refund in the price difference since the rolls we bought were quite a bit more expensive than the appetizers they gave us. He said no. I asked to speak to the manager, he said they weren’t in and would call me back. Never did. Extremely rude person answering the phone and won’t return based on the service alone. Food wasn’t worth it either.

This is my second or third time coming here and I'm still not tired of it. Me and my husband have come here for lunch and dinner both and we enjoyed our food the most. My favorite is the Volcano roll and Tapa steak! The food came fast and ready, definitely one of my favorite sushi spots!

My wife and I love coming to Tapa! The service is always great!!! Sometimes we get traditional Japanese dishes, but most of the time we love getting lots of sushi! So fresh and tasty and always puts us in a good mood. Tonight was our 32nd wedding anniversary and Lauren took great care of us! So good!!!

Me and my dad love this place! It's very clean and as someone who is a clean freak it passed my expectations. The food not only looked very appetizing but it was delicious as well. The staff is also very nice.

I've tried a few sushi places in Utah that don't really have the best sushi. I blame it on the fish being far and Utah not getting good picks on the fish. But this restaurant had great quality sushi, just like in Vegas. Highly recommend this restaurant

The food is alright. The Vegas roll was very good (only reason this gets two stars instead of one). We got about 4 pieces of sushi for each traditional roll and more like 8 per specialty roll. Maybe it was because I ordered online but it seems like I only got half a roll for two of my rolls. Honestly I can’t think of anything about this place that would make me want to go to Tapa over Tsunami. Maybe that it’s less busy? Idk, just overall very disappointing for a $45 meal
