I recently placed a pickup order from Tapa Sushi. Over the phone, the staff were friendly, which I appreciated. Unfortunately , one of the items I ordered was completely inedible. The Gyoza was badly burned, to the point where it shouldn’t have been boxed up and sent out. When I called to ask for a refund for just that one item, they refused, saying I could come back another time for a replacement instead. That’s really disappointing because I drove 25 minutes to get my order. Mistakes happen, but refusing to refund a $6 item after serving something that couldn’t be eaten is unacceptable. It’s not about the money it’s about doing the right thing. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and ensures better quality control and customer service in the future. People, check your food before you take it home. I’m sure they wouldn’t have serve this for the people dining in.

Just took my cousin there for his birthday, we got the lunch special, we got 2 rolls and miso for 11 bucks. The food was amazing, highly recommended the tempura roll, good balance of crunch to the rice.

We ordered a Sunshine roll, a Spicy tuna shishito roll, and the Jalapeño bombs, that fed two of us perfectly. All three tasted amazing! Service was quick, even on a Friday evening.

I do love one of their rolls but I have been paying multiple times for their unagi (eel sauce) at an additional $3-4 per small container and they have given me soy sauce each time. I am beyond disappointed. You get what you pay for with cheap sushi. Not to mention their sushi is gross and way less fresh than closer restaurants 🤢
I have been to Tapa Sushi many times! And they have never disappointed me! Everything I have tried has been delicious! The atmosphere is always nice and the service is great. Always happy to recommend Tapa to anyone!

We have never had a bad experience here. We are faithful customers. We do couple night often.ay favorite dinner plate is the Katsu Chicken and the Volcano roll is so good. Their gyosa… too much awesomeness to describe all of them. the people who work there are kind and attentive and I love the half off nights.

Good sushi. Service was fast even though it was a busy Saturday night. Friday and Saturday have cheap sushi from 9-11 p.m.
The flavor was good. Some rolls were flavored less but I give 2 stars because the SERVER sometimes will Be chatting to another server and take her time to come get our order with a bad face. Btw, the other server was putting his butt on a table while taking an order. At the end the girl came to us to pay and as soon as I tap my phone on to pay she turned around and left with the same bad face not even saying thank you for coming. I really thought she forgot something and will come back because of the way she did it. Anyway I regret even leaving a bad tip. The bad tip I was leaving was for the poor service. I don’t think is fair to tip someone who doesn’t even want people coming. I loved the place but not coming back.
