I have never been a fan of chain Chinese food places like Panda Express. I’ve eaten at whistle wok since I was little, I remember they used to have a model train that would run around the whole dining area along the top of the room. Whistle wok was my parent’s favorite Chinese food place to eat growing up and that has carried into my adult life as well. My boyfriend has never been a huge fan of Chinese food In general until I brought him to whistle wok, it’s quickly become a favorite we crave regularly. All of the food has such delicious sauce that makes it so good. I come back over and over. Everyone is so friendly, I am always welcomed when I walk in. Very affordable prices for individual meals or for larger groups as well. Lots of options of different proteins, spicy options as well for people who prefer. I highly recommend a side or two of wontons with your meal. Anytime I try other Asian food places I always compare to whistle wok. They will always be #1

No one should go into an establishment and be talked down to, especially over a small mix up. It was not that the employee seemed annoyed, which is understandable, but that he spoke to a coworker in a way that made customers feel embarrassed and uncomfortable for their mistake. This type of behavior is unacceptable. If interacting with customers is an issue, maybe you shouldn’t be working in a customer service based industry or maybe work in the back kitchen.

Absolutely disgusted by the behavior of one of the male employees working this evening. I have been coming here for years and have never been treated this way. I regularly place large orders for my company and drive over 30 minutes to order from this location, but after this experience, I will no longer be doing so.

This situation stemmed from a small mix-up while ordering for multiple people. We needed to change from a 2-item plate to a 3-item plate, and I had no idea this required a different plate size or that it would be such an issue. Instead of simply making the small adjustmentnor explaining that it would be a different plate, the employee was rude and began speaking in Spanish to another employee about us. We understood exactly what was being said, which made the interaction extremely uncomfortable and unprofessional.

I apologized for the confusion, but his comments and behavior completely ruined the experience. The situation could have been handled much better. What was supposed to be a great birthday celebration was completely ruined by this interaction. It’s very disappointing to be treated this way as a long-time, loyal customer. I will no longer be referring friends or family to this restaurant.

Picked up some dinner for me and my wife for date night and it was so good! It was freshly made and delicious. Orange Chicken and Sweet and Sour Chicken were our favorites. Service was fast and friendly as well!

I love love love this place. This is my go to place to go when I want take out. You can't beat the prices and its simple but so delicious! And I can always get enough for lunch the next day. I don't eat in but thats more of a me thing. The workers are always super nice when i get my food. My favorite thing when I get my order is to see the sticker they use to stick my receipt to my bag. They always use such cute stickers. :-)

Great Chinese food. Never a long line. Sesame chicken and orange chicken are my favorite and get the cheese wontons. I took my dad last week because his favorite Chinese place closed and this is his new favorite. He’s been back twice since. Interior decorations and seating isn’t pretty but the food is totally worth it. We carry out here a lot too

our family has been going here for years. most of the quality is still pretty okay. not perfect, just okay. the chicken however, it seems like the quality has decreased. like some of the chicken pieces are hard as a rock and other pieces are like really soft and mushy, like mashed potatoes. but their other food is pretty okay. the rice is one of my favorites and so is the egg drop soup. the people there are pretty nice. and they get your food out to you somewhat quickly. it just depends on how busy they are at the moment. but overall like ive said a lot the food and atmosphere there is pretty okay. (there is a reason why we’ve been going there for a long time.)

Their orange chicken is so good! It seems like they changed up their fried rice and it tastes so much better. Very fresh. I love it! Just wish there were open a little later❤️

I heard legend of Whistle Wok, but only tried it for the first time today. Everyone was very patient with me despite my tourettes and the rice is the best I've ever had. I'm used to dry rice, but this was the perfect texture and super buttery. The cashew chicken was also a delight. Most restaurants use too much sauce, but this chicken was expertly spiced and balanced. The restaurant feels quaint, homey, vintage, and absolutely wonderful. My only recommendation is that you bring earplugs as it can be a bit loud for those with noise sensitivity because it is so popular. The prices are great.

4.5 stars - it’s a better Panda Express! The service was great. We liked the rice better than the noddles. We tried the sesame chicken, general tso chicken, and Mongolian pork. All were good. They were kind enough to get us fresh generals chicken instead of serving the stuff that looked like had been sitting for a while.

The prices are good and they load you up.
