Haven’t eaten here in a while. The rice bowl and fries were good and worth the visit. I bought the chicken island sandwich and it was non edible. I had to take it back for a refund. (I got one). The chicken was tougher than a cheap over cooked steak. Like rubber. Three attempts and I was done. Stay away from the chicken sandwich and you will enjoy the meal.
I was dissapointed with the lack of veggies in my bowl. Granted, it has been a few years since I have been to Rumbi, but I remember having a lot of veggies that came with the bowl- not extra. Maybe things have changed. I was pleased with the amount of meat in the bowl, but it needs more that meat, rice, and a TBSP of beans!
What I love about the Rumbi in West Bountiful and what keeps us coming back is quality, fresh, hot food! I am particular about not getting fries that have sat in a warmer…and these are always cooked fresh and come out hot and crispy and not greasy. The Rumbi fries which are shoestring regular fries with the best sweet potato fries are banger.
And have you tried their Salmon? Super good and moist, really nice seasoning and nice sauce on top.
