Haven't been here in many years, but once you're inside, its still that great little cafe that you always remember. Open for breakfast and lunch, I usually plan a breakfast visit. The omelets and skillets are great. So many different choices and options that everyone should have one that fits to their taste or try something new as they are very good. It's great place to begin your day and would recommend it for anyone.

Delicious! Took my grandsons there for a Saturday breakfast. One had the Mickey pancakes and loved them. The other completely devoured the French toast. After that they both started sharing my eggs Benedict. Great food!

Food was only fair. Not really a place I would go to frequently. Server was good. Bathrooms are so bad. The floor was sticky, toilet paper wasn't even on the dispenser and sink had paper all over.

Absolutely the best omelet I've had in a long time. Everyone had smiles on their faces when breakfast was over. It was a great way to start the day before heading out to the nature preserve.
I generally don’t do this. Have being a server myself, I know how it is to take care of a restaurant alone. And I really don’t want to be this person, however the service we had today July 3rd, 2025 at Bert’s was horrible. The cook actually had to bring part of our order I think cuz I was starring at him. The waitress was a young dark hair girl with glasses, she was very rude!!!! Even telling a customer omg the food has to cook! I wasn’t paying but I would have left her the penny trick tip!! No refills, didn’t even leave a straw.. if you’re miserable at your job find something else!! Give this girl some customer service training!!!! I mean the place wasn’t even that busy!! She even rolled her eyes to finally bring one refill!! Didn’t even ask if she could do anything else for our table! If I was the manager I wouldn’t let this girl serve at my restaurant!!!! I’m sure he won’t respond either. It was so bad I won’t be back, especially if she’s the server!

Bert's Family Cafe has been around since 1929 and it's such a great place to get something to eat. They are open everyday for breakfast and lunch from 7am to 2pm. Really great food and service. We had the Rueben Sandwich with their awesome Onion Rings. You need to go to Bert's! 🙏❤️😋🙏
