The food and service were really good.I had the steak sandwich. The flavor was really good. The sweet potato fries were good. The very light coating of sugar on them was a delighter.
Love it here. The food is SUBLIME and the people who work there are super fun. The owners and managers are THE BEST. Love this place. I should go there on my birthday.

Visited while travelling from out of town. J&D feels like the local hangout for decades. It has a healthy loved in look with old fotos, worn seats and floors that seemed to add to the appeal. Worn but clean and tidy.Service was attentive and very polite despite being very busy. The serving sizes were generous, homey but flavorful.

Fantastic experience! Great service. I had the six egg omelet with sausage and bacon and ham and onions in it. I switch the gravy with hollandaise sauce and it was divine. Came with hash browns and toast.

Very homey and family friendly atmosphere. Servers and staff were very friendly from start to finish. Service was quick. Food came out relatively fast. The food was delicious and so were the drinks. I had gotten iced tea which was fantastic. The place is conveniently located and is clean. Will be returning.
Hands down, some of the BEST diner food I have had in a very long time! ?I highly recommend you try their Sweet Potato Tots (with the cinnamon sugar sprinkle), as it was absolutely genius and needs to be everywhere. Husband and I were smitten instantly! I had the spaghetti and meatballs, with the chicken noodle soup. The soup was definitely homemade, with homemade noodles and a great broth. It may not have looked like much, but it had a really good flavor! The spaghetti and meatballs were also so good! It reminded me of my grandma's cooking in that classic americana way. Hubby had the Mohawk Steak Sandwich with the sweet potato tots. He loved every bite and was kind enough to share the tots with me (it's seriously our new favorite thing!).Sydney was our server. She was sweet, kind, and answered any and all questions. The staff were all very patient and nice. There was a young father with his daughters at another table, and the daughter was due for bedtime (understandable!). The father did great, and the staff supported him in a way that isn't seen very often. This is a great choice for families. Love love love this restaurant!
