The food was excellent. All three dishes we ordered were delicious. The Cilantro Chicken was tender and flavorful as was the Pork Verdi burrito. The beef and chicken fajitas were bursting with flavor. Even the refried beans and Spanish rice were flavorful.
Accommodating, delicious food and kind servers. The place was clean and we didn't have to wait too long for our food. I ordered a vegetable burrito that was not on their lunch menu, but they were happy to make it for me. The menu is similar to El Toro Viejo, but the food was better in my opinion.Vegetarian options: There were a few vegetarian options and a couple are easily made vegan (possibility of cross contamination).

We don’t eat Mexican food anywhere other that at Ruben’s. Our family has been eating here for over ten years. Even when we didn’t live in Utah, whenever we came back to visit we would make a special trip to Ruben’s. Their salsas (red and green) are always fresh, just like the chips. I have tried most everything on the menu. My favorites are the Molcajete, carne asada, and the chicken tortilla soup (which may be an undiscovered cure for the common cold).
