Since Ricardo’s Mexican Restaurant first opened its doors in 1992 in its original Perry, Utah location, it has been a constant in my life. Long before it became a Brigham City staple, Ricardo’s established itself as more than just a place to eat, it became a gathering point for the community. Watching it grow from those early days into the beloved institution it is today has been genuinely special.

I stopped by Ricardo’s a couple weeks ago with some friends, and it reminded me why I’ve loved this place since I was a kid. The back was packed because they were doing a photo shoot for the new menu, but even with all the busyness the staff took great care of us.
