Fish tacos for the win! I've always gone through the drive thru, but we dined in this time. The staff was so patient and kind. We felt so welcome and well taken care of - which is notable for a fast-casual restaurant.

I have been going to Lone Star Taqueria since the 90s! But from what I can tell the burritos could feed a family of four!!! My favorite and I have always gotten since day one is the fish taco! I love it so much I have it for my birthday! If you close your eyes and pretend 7200 South is actually a beach in Mexico you're there!!! This place is cute and authentic and I love it. You can even get a beer there if you'd like. So for your next trip to the baha, I recommend Lone Star taqueria!! How many places that are drive-thru, eat indoor/outdoor cute gems in Utah??? This is one place you have to try!

Went here on a date with my husband. Got the fish tacos and they were delicious. Decided to go last night and order the fish tacos again. Well it was a completely different fish. It tasted like tuna from a can and they put a ton of it on one taco was kinda gross. We also ordered A chx taco a few months ago which was pretty bad. It was just a soft taco with an enormous amount of meat. Zero freshness. Another time I ordered a burrito on my lunch break and it was as big as my torso. Why are the portions so huge? We thought at least the fish tacos were good but they completely changed the recipe probably to save money. We give up on this place. We’re from California and confidently say there is no good food in Utah. We rarely eat out anymore.

This place was the Bomb! We were passing through SLC and looked up places that had been on Triple D. This one looked great and it is almost entirely Gluten Free!!! (3 things aren't) The Quesabirria was awesome, seriously! I loved the house-fried chips and queso. If I lived near by I would eat here A LOT.

I'm scared to tell the truth for fear the lines will become longer! This place is awesome. Can't go wrong, all the food is good. I suggest closing your eyes and pointing at the menu. Whatever you choose, I bet you love it!

The best street tacos in Utah! Great chips and guacamole too! Try the queso and chips for a delicious treat. Everything here is excellent!

Used to love this place about 20 years ago but now the food is the same as all the other bland Mexican restaurants.

This is a neighborhood. Favorite. Is the real deal. Everyone loves it and it's always crowded. Personally, I do not like to eat. Inside, is way too noisy. I have enjoyed every taco that I have ever had. Their chips are delicious. It can be kind of hard sometimes to drive in to the drive-thru because it's so busy. For some reason I'm a little bit more four-star on the food but I would say my whole family would say five so I'm giving it five.

Absolutely horrendous customer service. They were rude from walking in the door to leaving. Told us they were out of food when more of us ordered. Told us as soon as we moved one chair to make sure to put it back. Threw a fit when I threw away garbage in the wrong garbage can after cleaning up my table… I would give 1 star but 2 stars hurts more on Google Maps

Love it! There's a reason that this place is always packed...it's worth the wait.

First time visiting! Food was delicious, I ordered a fish and a shrimp taco. We stopped after spending hours in the mountains so we were hungry. Our food was prepared quickly and the flavor was phenomenal.

Overrated!! Waited 20+ minutes in the drive thru for two boring and un-special tacos. The drive-through microphone has been inaudible for years. I don’t get all the hype. Plenty of better options.
