The price was reasonable and the food was really great. The server was attentive and friendly. It was a nice vibe. They had a live jazz jam going on which was cool. The only knock is the music at times was a bit loud for conversation. I never heard of this place before walking in, but it was a great evening. Will return.
I had heard a lot about this place before I had visited. I finally decided to give it a try and was not disappointed. I went with their breakfast burrito and you also have the option to smother your hashbrowns with cheese which I would highly recommend doing. We also tried their French toast sandwich, which was very, very delicious. I would definitely come back here. I would recommend everyone to try Root’d out at least once.
The food is pretty average sadly. We had the deviled eggs, a Cuban sandwich and a balsamic salad. The two biggest misses were the Cuban and the eggs. The eggs had nearly zero flavor profile to them and should either be changed or scrapped completely. The Cuban's problem was the citrus pork. The pork as almost no flavor to it and is quickly overwhelmed by the cheese and Dijon mustard. If the pork had a more stand out flavor it would be improved by a lot because right now it...
