Amazing food and staff!! We went in knowing nothing about Persian Cuisine, and we left well fed and pleasantly surprised. Everything was seasoned perfectly!! We'll be back very soon, bringing friends.
This is a great place to eat. The food was delicious and flavorful. The staff took care of us. We also let them decide what food we should get, as long as it was authentic Persian. They nailed it! We practically licked the plates clean, the food was so tasty.
Every single time we eat here the food is phenomenal. Everyone who works here is so nice and friendly too. Thank you guys for making our neighborhood a little bit more special ❤️

I love this place. The atmosphere is cozy, inviting and elegant. The service is always fantastic and the suggestions from the staff are always great. The food is always fresh and high quality. Their wine and beer solection is modest but they have what they need to pair with everything on the menu. Their kabobs are excellent, so are the dolmas. Everything I have tried here I've loved. Would definitely recommend.

The people and service were great. Very kind and friendly We went for lunch. The chicken kebab was good. Great flavor. The tahdig was very disappointing, while it was crispy it lacked flavor and was very greasy. Hummus was smooth and delicious, the eggplant dip was as well.
A few hours later when we got home, both me and my spouse had so much gas. 😶🌫️ so much foul smelling flatulence. It was uncomfortable and I think it has to do with the lunch we had here. Not good quality oils.
The bill was $53 and I don’t think it was worth it.

Sumac helped my family cater my wedding, all the way in Idaho. They worked long hours and labored immensely to make my night the best- everyone talked about the food all night. I was so happy to pay tribute to my culture with the food at my wedding, and I cannot thank you enough. Not to mention the food is INCREDIBLE! Merci!!

Every Persian restaurant can be judged at its quality using the most common and basic staple of Persian restaurants: the koobideh. These guys knocked it out of the park.

I’m beyond grateful for the catering service that Mrs. Elham had provided for my daughter wedding,coming from OC and going to Jackson hole was a long drive and she gave me all the support I needed, as far as the food quality and the decoration and also wrapping the food was phenomenal job and the taste was amazing I cannot thank her enough for her fabulous service and her staff were wonderful my special thank goes to her sweet daughter and her lovely chef, I will definitely go there whenever I’m in Salt Lake City 🙏🙏

This place has phenomenal food. Honestly we are planning on going back for a second time during our short trip in Salt Lake City. Every single morsel was absolutely delish! We had the boorani bademjan for our appetizer which was the perfect preview for the rest of the meal. For our mains we ordered the fesenjoon, gheymeh bademjan, and chicken kabobs with barberry rice--each dish was equally spectacular however we felt the fesenjoon was particularly unique. For dessert the rice pudding and saffron rice paired beautifully and ended our meal on a high note. Apart from the food, service was on point! We can't wait to go back to try more dishes!
