We were warmly greeted and seated promptly. Although this place serves Vietnamese (similar) dishes and a couple of American entrees (burger) the food was decent and we felt satiated.
We had the lettuce š„¬ wraps, banh mi š„Ŗ sandwich (bread was not as soft as
Iād expected, but had more crunch). The burger š was actually good and flavorful!
Donāt have expectations in experiencing authentic Vietnamese entrees, as the owner is from Laos š±š¦ and although they have similar dishes to Vietnamese, not quite the same.
The restaurant seemed a tad run down. Place could use a good wipe down cleaning. But overall happy to support a mom and pop shop!

You could tell everything was homemade and of good quality. There were four of us and we all had something different. Lettuce wraps, masseman curry, sloppy chicken and French dip.The owner cooks and serves. It seems to me that she does it all with love. You feel very welcomed. I will definitely be back.

Simply delicious! The rib eye burger and beef pho are both incredibly rich but not overbearing, the lettuce wraps are fresh and bright, and the mango sticky rice is absolutely perfect. The only downside is that they aren't currently serving alcohol but that's just a general Utah problem, this place rules and I'll be excited to return!

First time came in closed 30mins before, second time closed for random reason. The restaurant is dated and not maintained well - debris, spider web, rust. Lettuce wrap was plain and with mushy texture. Some people say Pho is unique, it taste different but the broth lacks flavor/salt. Only thing that was ok was the rare steak in the pho. Would not recommend unless you are a super adventuristā¦

The owner/chef was the best. She has skills! Thai, Lao, American...everything was tasty. Highly recommend the ribeye burger--my favorite burger in town.

The french dip was great!
I had the panang curry and my gf had the pho. The curry was so light and flavorful, id show a photo but i devoured it. The broth on the pho was also very bright and refreshing compared to other pho broths this one is unique and paired with mint instead of basil. The sriracha is homemade and and ABSOLUTELY DIVINE. 10/10
This was also take out.
I absolutely love Montauk Bistro! It's a small, charming, woman owned and operated bistro in beautiful Draper, Utah. It's removed from the shopping district which makes for a much quieter feel. No hustle and bustle to distract you from the amazing food.
As it was a gorgeous summer day, my son and I chose to sit on the patio. We were served promptly and treated very courteously. All of our questions were answered and we were given suggestions to help us decide on what each of us would like best.
The food came within 15 minutes and was nice and hot (as in recently removed from the burner/stove, not spicy - though it can be prepared spicy if that's your thing). Everything was fresh and prepared from scratch.
The flavor was wonderful! I had the Pad Thai. It was sweet, tangy, umami, and just the right amount of spicy for my taste. The veggies were cooked well, but still slightly crunchy (just the way I like it). The rice noodles were cooked to perfection. My son had the Phį» with Rare Sirloin. The meat was tender, the veggies perky, and the broth was umami and savory. We enjoyed both dishes so much that we would switch off every 5 minutes so we could each eat as much of the other's meal as we wanted.
As for portion size... IMO portion sizes in the U.S. are out of control. It's part of the reason that, as a country, we are so morbidly obese.
The portion size at Montauk was perfect. Enough to feel completely sated, but not stuffed. And not so much that you needed a take home box. Just right.
We never had to ask for refills of our drinks. They were just there when we needed them.
The woman who owns and runs the restaurant took the time to introduce herself and even came to sit and chat with us for a while. She is a brave, hard working, independent woman, and I REALLY enjoyed hearing her story.
Thank you for an absolutely wonderful meal! This was the perfect place to bring my son for some quality father/son time, and high quality food. I enjoyed it so much, in fact, that I plan on taking my daughter in the next couple of days.
Thanks again!
Delicious food, warm friendly service, charming space. I ordered the Bahn Mi sandwich, and it was very good. The bread is sourced from a local bakery so itās fresh and crispy.
What a great dinner! Lexi provided excellent customer service. The food -just WOW THE CARROT CAKE IS A MUST DO!

Absolutely love this place. I work across the street and we decided to give it a shot and WOW. The food was literally as as fresh as you can get it. They grow their own herbs and veggies and you can literally taste it (SOOO GOOD!). The experience was very cool. The owner was super nice and gave us great service! You can tell she puts nothing but love into her food.
Overall glad we gave this place a shot. I'll definitely be coming back!
Was thinking of going here because itās close by to where I frequently attend. After reading some reviews, Iām not sure if it is worth my money to try it out⦠and if I do, I donāt want to be disappointed
Hidden gem. Bahn mi was tasty and filling. Friendly atmosphere, cozy.
Loved the home cooked meal and friendly service!
The meat in my lettuce wraps was just weird mush, with a weird flavor. Iām not a picky person but after one bite I didnāt want to eat any more. They were the worst chicken lettuce wraps Iāve ever had. I also ordered dumplings and the wraps on them were completely uncooked, thick and tough. I couldnāt eat more than one bite and gave them away. The dumplings also had the same weird chicken mush in them as the wraps. I think this seems like a cute local restaurant and they are trying their best but the food I ordered was inedible.
