The food did not disappoint..we loved all of it.
As a girl born and raised in North Carolina, I know good Southern food — and let me tell you, this place NAILED it. From the moment I walked in, I felt like I was back home. The fried chicken was perfectly crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, the collard greens had just the right kick, and don’t even get me started on the mac and cheese... creamy, cheesy, and made just right.

Based on reviews, Sauce Boss Southern Kitchen serves the best southern food in Utah, making guests from the south feel at home. The food is absolutely incredible, including dishes like chicken fried chicken, mashed potatoes, broccoli slaw, Fried Chicken with Golden Splendor, Spiced Corn, Shrimp and Grits with Candied Yams, Bacon Cheese Fries, Lemon Berry Bars, and the House Red Drink. The fried chicken is phenomenal, perfectly seasoned and fried, and downright addictive. The bacon cheese fries are a good and unique appetizer, but portions are big and filling. The complimentary pork cracklins are the only appetizer needed. The service is superb and impeccable, with a staff that is so kind. The owner is an amazing guy, always around with a smile on his face, and comes out to meet and greet each table. The restaurant is clean, has a fun vibe, and prices are solid for the quality and quantity of food. The only negative is it is a smaller place, so it is tough to bring a group larger than 6. Guests are blown away every single time and will definitely be eating here again.
