Although the restaurant was empty when we arrived, the service was very slow. Our waiter was not at all warm or friendly, but he was at least courteous. We were celebrating a birthday, which I put in our reservation notes, but that seems to have been pointless, as there was no mention of it. We had planned to get dessert for the birthday girl and sing to her at our table, but it took so long to get our food, and when the waiter came back to our table, he already had our check...
Food is always fantastic. Our group of 4 had the bolognese, the carbonara, the short ribs and pasta and the fettuccini Alfredo. All 4 dishes were fantastic and we all did a bit of sharing. Portions are ample and nobody left hungry. Lip our server did a great job. He was attentive, thorough and answered every question with ease and grace. Toscano's is a family favorite that we will return to often.
Really good food and great service. We had the calamari & shrimp and meatballs to start. Chicken parm, spaghetti and meatballs, chicken Marsala, veal saltilbocca and the bolognese. All we pretty good the chicken in the Marsala was super over done but everything else was great. I think the favorite was the bolognese.
