Great tour of the ‘real deal’ of an actual, local distillery. New World does not source their products from other distilleries. Chris does a fantastic job of explaining the process from fermenting, to distilling, and aging to get to the final product, whether it’s their gin, tequila, or bourbon. Do the tour and get a small tasting before buying. It’s all good, but the gin is phenomenal. I didn’t take too many photos and was careful to not be too invasive or disruptive...
The New World Distillery is in a beautiful mountain valley with delicious spirits. Ashley, one of the owners, was very kind and knowledgeable about their products. I loved the rotating batch of the season which was an apple brandy, it was absolutely delicious! They also have a fun store with lots of unique distillery gifts. Would highly recommend checking out NWD:)

We came at a time when tours weren’t offered but loved listening to her stories and learning more about the different spirits. Oomaw gin is fantastic so we had to go back for more. Thanks for the t-shirt!!
