Very disappointed with this place lately. Came in for ice cream and paid for a double scoop and almost barely got one scoop. Payton needs more training on the register she is horrible. She doesn’t know what she is doing and and takes forever. Do better Cranes!!

I really like their food but it’s always ridiculously busy. I waited at the drive thru for over 10 min and not one word was said. I also drove up to the window, employees were there at the window and saw me and never acknowledged me. Terrible service. Maybe hire more people..

Extremely, extremely frustrated with the lack of inconsistency! The food isn’t bad, we eat there quite often but not sure if we will be back. We have gone twice now once at 7:45 and once at 8:30 and both times were told that the grill was shut down and they couldn’t cook us any food which is ridiculous since we’ve been there at 8:15 and it was open! Google states the hours are from 11-9, if you are going to shut your grill down at a certain time at least list it and be consistent! It is extremely frustrating after a long day of work thinking you’ll make only for it to be closed even earlier that day!
We LOVE the Malt shop! Our favorites are the bacon cheeseburger and sweet potato fries! Absolutely wonderful every time!

We love eating here, however the last 2 times we’ve tried to come eat here the doors have been locked and they’re closed even though it’s at least hour before closing. Either update the hours online or stop closing early because we hate making the trip out here if it’s closed before it’s supposed to be.

I'm not from Ephraim, but was in town for a family wedding reception. I went to The Malt Shop with my daughter, her husband, and their kids. The food was good, the atmosphere was fun, and they were busy on a Saturday. The atmosphere was that of a 1950s diner. They have a fairly broad menu for food, and the shakes were really good too.
