We passed through Escalante on our bicycle tour a few weeks back. We were able to pick up some supplies here. The staff member gave really useful advice. The shop was extremely well-stocked and competitively priced. Highly recommend!

This place was wonderful! Friendly and knowledgeable staff and a fun curated selection of top quality outdoor gear. Picked up some Bedrock Mountain Clogs, a couple bandanas, stickers, and a pocket microscope for the kids (which they LOVE). I wish every outdoor gear store was like this.
All of that said, it’s worth stopping by solely to see the upstairs woodwork!

My friend and I stopped by last November for a quick coffee and were blown away by the warm hospitality. The coffee was perfect, but the real highlight came when we start talking about our trip. They sketched out a detailed map right in front of us while explaining a slot-canyon route that wasn’t even on our itinerary. We followed their sketch to incredible overlooks, and it turned our drive into the best part of our trip. Highly recommend—for fantastic coffee and unbeatable local tips!

Took a slot canyon tour on April 15, 2025. Jimmy was very accommodating. He answered all my questions and allowed me to take my own backpack. He suggested more scienic route to the canyon to enjoy the scenery, all groups members agreed. Jimmy provided a brief geological history of the place. He also encouraged us to ask questions and take photos. The route to the canyon was beautiful and scienic. I think as a group we enjoyed. When we got to the canyon, Jimmy explained what awaits us. In the canyon Jimmy provided necessary coaching and help. He was helpful in explaining techniques of hiw to navigate a tight spots. Jimmy made sure everyone of us felt capable. It was great experience. Jimmy is an excellent guide. I recommend Utah Canyon Outdoors to everyone. It was a fun and great experience for me. Thanks Jimmy.
