“We always come here when in Escalante. Great food! Tonight however the gentleman waiting on us was rude. Made a comment to my husband that he heard him the first time when my husband asked for the cake in front, then when I tried to pay with Apple Pay and it almost went through (he said no card taps so I thought it would work) again and it didn’t, he got snippy and said I told you, now I have to start again. We paid and turned to wait for our food and he started to complain about us to another staff met while we were still there! Yesterday we had a sweet woman wait on us (and I used Apple Pay in the store) so this isn’t typical. Maybe he was just having a bad day even though he said he just got there 5 minutes ago.”
