“Our group of 12 stayed at the guest house and we are at the Sweetwater Kitchen. Both places are amazing! We had the best steak, trout tacos, pasta, polenta fries, chicken, and desserts!! So delicious, and such great service! Will for sure plan a trip around this place again!”

“Driving through on the way to Capitol Reef, we had originally planned to stop at a taco truck but they were closed. And I'm so glad because we had the best lunch with the most lovely waitress! As a vegetarian with food sensitivities I have a low-level dread when we blindly try restaurants while traveling. I was so pleasantly surprised.
The owner patiently answered my questions about ingredients and then we enjoyed the best lunch with high quality, fresh ingredients. I had the tofu sandwich which came with slaw or fries. I ordered an extra side of fries. It was the best tofu I have ever eaten and I've been vegetarian for 30 years.
The fries were crispy and flavorful but not greasy. The slaw is Asian style, light and perfect. My husband had the lamb burger with slaw and it looked juicy and fresh. He enjoyed it! For dessert we shared a scoop of vanilla frozen custard with caramel sauce. The only negative is I should have gotten my own and not have to share. 🤔🙂
This stop and tasty meal are a happy memory of our Utah vacation.
I highly recommend you, too, stop for a meal at Burr Trail Grill!
