Yesterday we did a great tour with Jim through slot Canyon Egypt 2. We love hiking and biking but we have never done a tour like this before. It was an amazing experience! Very impressive 🤩 Jim is a terrific guide, he took good take of our small group of 4 people, we always felt save. He showed us how to pass difficult sections which was very helpful and supportive. Great thanks. We highly recommend to do a tour with Jim - it is stunning. 🥾☀️

Blue Crow Gear & Gifts is a small coffee shop and gift shop on Main Street in Escalante. It serves the best coffee in town, including organic fair trade options. A coffee snob declared the coffee the best without any additives, and even better with coconut milk and lavender/vanilla. The macchiato stands up to the best coffee shops. The smoothies are a treat in the heat, and cold coffee and milkshakes are also available. The coffee menu is simple with solid options, and bakery and food items are coming soon.
Beyond coffee, the shop carries a mix of outdoor essentials, clothing, and unique gifts. It has tons of hiking and gear needs, with outstanding brands like Nemo and Darn Tough. The cutest attire is available, and the staff is extremely kind and helpful, answering questions on best shoes for hiking and outdoor inquiries. The shop also has a great selection of books, including used books on the history of the area. The whole place has a friendly, welcoming vibe, making it a perfect quick stop for caffeine, a little shopping, and a relaxed small-town feel.
