Quick summary: the excellent sandwich and service you expect from a subway. Subway is our go-to takeaway when we are on the road. Since they open early, they are perfect for picking up a sandwich for lunch later on while touring the canyons in the area. Our go-to if often "the meat", with Italian meats, provolone, and an assortment of good veggies ($11 for a foot long.) Lilly was lovely and it was a real shame that we couldn't adopt a puppy. This subway is the only breakfast option in escalate before 8 am. Four stars because even though subway has a breakfast menu it's a little bit difficult to construct something that really feels breakfasty. This is a subway wide situation and not in any way the fault of this location.

Driving through the area and taking in the red mountains and the staircase of cliffs and elevations, we needed some food for the ride and we stopped by Subway. Always fresh and always filling no matter what style or meat you get,
