This place has very delicious breakfast. I particularly liked the banana/pecan pancakes and monte cristos. The kids loved the adventure plate and three egg omelettes. The service was great to compliment the great food. Kudos to the chef and Amy.
We stayed in Escalante during our vacation and ate breakfast here for three days straight. We tried everything on the menu. The food was delicious and the staff is amazing! Amy took great care of us the entire time we were here. Thank you!

Roasted Root Café is a great place to eat. The quality of the food is great. The café serves good meals like the Mediterranean wrap, Italian grinder, and Caprese sandwich. The potato salad is unbelievable. The café is incredibly clean, with immaculate bathrooms. The staff are warm, friendly, and welcoming. They provide great service and are kind and attentive. The café has lots of outdoor seating and is dog-friendly. It also serves local beef hamburgers and interesting coffee drinks. The atmosphere is welcoming and comfortable, making customers feel like they are in a friend's house. The café is a great place to stop and eat, with tasty food and excellent service.
