“Quick summary: the excellent sandwich and service you expect from a subway. Subway is our go-to takeaway when we are on the road. Since they open early, they are perfect for picking up a sandwich for lunch later on while touring the canyons in the area. Our go-to if often "the meat", with Italian meats, provolone, and an assortment of good veggies ($11 for a foot long.) My husband and I ask them to but it in threes - I get 1/3, and he gets 2/3, which works well for us. We also try others in their menu, and they are always fresh and tasty. Of course, they also have soft drinks, chips, etc. to go with your lunch. Housed in a gas station convenience store, right on the main road in Escalante.“
“The BEST cheeseburger basket - so many fries - that we've had in a long time. Seriously, so good! Maybe we thought it was so good because we just hiked Peekaboo+Spooky, but I snarfed my basket down. I'm a big French Fry girl and there were so many, I actually couldn't eat them all. And didn't get me started on the ice cream. Delish!“
