Average Italian food in a very fancy atmosphere. Honestly Olive Garden has more flavor. I got the signature bolognese sauce pasta dish, rigatoni I think. Had to add salt and pepper, it was just bland as all get out. The artichoke dip was good though. For the value it was a two star, okay portions, but it just had zero flare. Super disappointing because the last Italian place it replaced was amazing! Will give it another shot, maybe, but it's towards the bottom of my revisit list.

Great fresh healthy food, quiet atmosphere, friendly attentive staff. One of our favorite go to places to eat

The service was awesome. The food was not. My wife had the gluten noodles that were so overcooked she could barely eat it. I had the cioppino and it was really salty. My Grandma had the tortellini and the dough was so thick. I was upset because it was really expensive so I thought the food was going to be amazing and it wasn't. My kids did have the pizza and said it was soooo delicious. So I guess if you go there get the pizza.

We went to Bartolo's for our 35th wedding anniversary. The food was delicious and the service great except for one issue, we asked our waitress to hold our main course until we were finished with our appetizers and salads. This did not happen, our main course was brought out right in the middle of our first course.

I loved the rigatoni bolognese. I would love to Their kitchen couldn't handle the dinner rush. We waited an hour and 15 min for food after we ordered. They did discount our meal. But the whole thing was a messy experience. I'd try it again with a smaller table and not on a weekend to give them another chance

Our waiter was very nice and provided great service! I ordered the house focaccia and the craprese pasta and they both were very good.

Got all the flavors of pizza they had on the menu for my team at work. They liked them all, very good. Great service, friendly staff.

Went on a Sunday morning. Place wasn’t busy yet. Food was good. My son got the Nutella waffles, they were okay. We also got the artichoke dip which needed salt and then the steak entree. Steak was tender and seasoned well as were the asparagus that came with it. The passionfruit Italian soda was great!

Omg wow! I’m Italian and they’ve nailed it. The pistachio pesto pasta with shrimp was incredible. My partner ordered the grilled shrimp Cobb. All the food tasted fresh and perfect balance of flavors. Plenty left over to take home. The service was impeccable, warm, and friendly. Cocktails are delicious, the bartender made Italian Manhattan and it was phenomenal.

I really wanted to like this Italian restaurant because of how many gluten free options were noted on the menu, but the experience we had and the flavor of the food left me feeling really disappointed. While our waitress was fairly knowledgeable about the menu options, she was not attentive at all and I ended up having to tell another worker that my bolognese sauce was really over salted. We had another person order the same sauce and they mentioned the ground meat was super gritty and did not have a good taste to it. Another person ordered the Alfredo sauce and they said it tasted more like butter than any of the other Alfredo ingredients. It took a couple of minutes for the person I got the attention of to find our server and ask them if I could order something else. Even though it initially took us ten minutes for all six of us to get our food, including two gluten free pasta dishes, I was told that it was going to take the kitchen 15 minutes to make me a new gf pasta dish. That ended up being 25 minutes, and was supposed to include both spinach and mushrooms, but there were no mushrooms to be found in my second dish. I appreciated that they took off the first dish I didn’t like, but if it would have been me serving our table and it took almost 25 minutes to get a second dish out, I would have comped the meal completely. We also waited for over ten minutes after we got boxes for our server to cash us out, so we ended up waiting at the table for longer than we actually were eating meals and enjoying our food. For how much Bartolo’s charges for their dishes, I will not eat here again. The price was not worth the mediocre flavor of the food, nor the overall experience we had.

Dietary restrictions: There are several gluten free options including pasta, and most of their sauces are gluten free.

Brought my wife and newborn here for dinner. We were greeted at the door and helped with our stroller. The host asked questions about our “likes” and gave several meal suggestions based off our answers. Our server was friendly and thorough. The food was delicious (opted for one of the host suggestions) and the spice pint was reasonable and well worth the quality of food served. On the way out the door we were asked if the experience was enjoyable by the host and after a brief conversation we learned the “host” was actually the owner.

10/10 I can't believe this place doesn't have more reviews. Super nice area of Farmington and the ambiance was sheek. My wife and I came during brunch. No rush. Just sat down. Super inviting staff.

The food was amazing and comparable to food we have experienced in Italy. We mentioned this to the waitress and she informed us that the chef did his internship in Italy. Chef, you are spot on! Flavorful and incredibly fresh.

We felt like the prices were reasonable too.

Thank you Bartolo’s for the wonderful brunch date.

Good Italian food but not the best. Big servings but just found the flavor lacking. Too much oil in the pesto sauce. Service was great.
