This place is pretty good. Service is descent.

So frustrating, we really like this place but when you order a side of shredded cheese(typically .$75-$1.00)and a side of sour cream(maybe $1.00) and I get my bill and they charge $5.00 for a small side of shredded cheese and $3.75 for the sour cream.. I’m done! You can’t all the sudden start charging huge prices for little sides and then tell people later when they get the bill. We won’t be going back this is just sad by the ownership to try and make more money. I felt like I just got done buying a used car and they slipped in all kinds of things to make the price go way up!

Absolutely LOVE this place!!! It’s such a hidden gem and AMAZING FOOD! it’s a family owned authentic Mexican restaurant that’s a must try! I’ve been going here since I was little and it’s my favorite Mexican restaurant in the whole state!

First time at this location. Usually frequent the spots in Ogden and Layton. Javier's food is always solid. Service was slow and inattentive at this location, though. Even when the restaurant was mostly empty. Probably won't come back to this one.

THE BEST PLACE!!

Excited to try something new. We got enchiladas, tacos and chilie rellanos. Bland. Everything except the chili. Salsa tasted like tomato paste. The corn tortillas were mushy and not in a good way. Do not recommend. So sad

I had a beef chimichanga. It came with refried beans and rice, chips and sour cream, guacamole hot sauce. It was a bit over $16.00. I got it home and the chimi was flat. The beef and lettuce was almost non existent. I know it was not deep fried. Very disappointed. Will not be returning.

Really good and authentic Mexican food. Nice menu selection and fast service. Staff is helpful and friendly.

My wife and I visited Javier's to celebrate. We enjoyed our meal and the atmosphere.

Food was delish. Staff was ok. Floor was very dirty, which turned me off a bit but I'd go back. I had the carne asada and the flavor was great. Salsa bar is a bonus.

If I could give Javier’s 10 stars I would. My family has been coming here for years and love the food and service. Ellie and her husband are amazing and always provides the.best service.
