ParkStone Wood Kitchen + Taps

**One of the BEST tasting wood fired/flame smoked meats and burgers across the US! I've had BBQ in a lot of states (Michigan, New York, Texas, Colorado, Kansas, Washington, etc., and they were good also) and large cities, and Parkstone Wood Kitchen & Taps are still one of the best for natural smoked flavor from the wood fire cooking! Parkstone Wood Kitchen & Taps also provides an occasional discount so new customers could try the outstanding wood fired flavors! You all have got to try this place and go back again. -Derek-

It's by the airport and kinda feels like you're at the airport. The food was ok, and the server was nice enough but it was too spendy for passable. I had the fish and chips and it didn't say what kind of fish it was on the menu, I never really figured it out.

Great location. I wanted some place was not s chain and this was great. I ordered the BBQ chicken, subbed the corn for Thai coleslaw- I don't eat corn if I can help it, and the red mashed potato. The Pinot wine was great. Chicken was beaten so thin- maybe a thicker would hold more moisture. The BBQ is what made it moist. The potatoes were also a little dried out, I added a dab of butter and that helped. The Thai slaw, was so good. Not what I expected but very happy with that. The cornbread was also dry, until I reached to the middle of the slice. I like my cornbread sweet and the honey it was served with added the right amount of sweetness.
All in all, not bad. Just needs some tweaking and it will be so good. Staff was friendly and attentive.

This is an excellent restaurant. My wife had the tri tip sandwich and wedge and I had the ribeye steak lunch portion. The food was very good and well prepared. The service was also very good.

I think the prices are very reasonable considering the quality of the food and service. The reviews here and rating do not correspond with my experience they are too low. I will be back.

Ordered spicy bacon burger with egg. I asked to have egg cooked over medium. Nope. According to server, it comes the way it comes. I also wanted medium rare on the burger. Also, nope. I guess I was hoping for too much for a $20 burger. Bonus: waiter was marginally attentive, and while we waited for requested drink refreshes, he popped over and later disappeared back bar, then took care of what sounded like personal business (that we could hear across the restaurant). There are too many other restaurants out there to keep this one on the list.

My husband and I love coming into parkstone, especially for their appetizers! The fried deviled eggs are to die for! We recently came in and tried out their drink special, it was some sort of apple pie drink. As someone who loves apple pie, I definitely DO NOT recommend trying! It was awful! We will continue to come back but maybe not for an apple pie drink!

visited ParkStone Wood Kitchen, located near the airport at the outlet mall. I inquired with the hostess about the possibility of being seated in a less illuminated section of the restaurant. She informed me that the area was closed but offered to consult with a server regarding my request. I overheard their conversation, which clearly indicated that seating in that area was not possible. The server then directed me to an available table in a brightly lit area. Given my debilitating light sensitivity, I require an environment with minimal illumination. I expressed my gratitude and explained my disability. The server reiterated the available seating options. Consequently, I decided to depart.

Maybe just stick to a burger and fries. Salad was terrible. They were friendly though.

Lots going on in this bar, pool tables, darts, music. We went during the early afternoon. Drinks were good. Food was good.

I had the shrimp my sister had the steak - both delicious! Really glad we stopped in after shopping - about 1:30 not busy (weekday) and service was great!
