This was our first time to this restaurant. We chose this location due to the fact we were attending a concert in Layton and decided to go eat in advance. The restaurant has a beautiful environment & vibe. Unfortunately, it was not at all what we had imagined. The service was mediocre. The food was downright pathetic! The portions are fine. However, the quality is not right! All of us(4) thought the food was terrible. I typically would have spoken up but we were on a time crunch to eat and get to the venue on time. Our waitress never asked if our food was good! It's astonishing that restaurants continue to stay open when they can't meet the basic standards. You would think that due to the beautiful nature of this location that the food would match the environment! It absolutely does not! Cold food being brought out like it's been sitting way too long, no flavor, the salad dressing was so hot (not spicy) that you could not even put it in your mouth. Don't get me wrong, I love spice and some hot food items. This however was so hot it would burn a hole in your tongue. The chicken was supposed to be southern fried. It was not! Trust me! I'm from the south and this tasted like it was frozen, boxed chicken that had freezer burn. My husband ordered Truffle pasta. The pasta was not thoroughly cooked! There was zero truffle sauce or flavor! He had to add salt & pepper to try to eat it. His salad was okay. The lettuce was soggy. Again, food seemed like it was sitting for a long time under heat lamps. The French fries were cold and soggy! How do you mess up fries? Honestly! We had to keep asking our waitress to refill our water glasses. Keep in mind, they were not busy. It was a Monday night. The overall experience was terrible. What a waste of money and time! I'm tired of trying new restaurants in Utah and not having a good experience. It's not cheap to eat out. When you do, you want to enjoy a good meal with decent service. This was neither. Very disappointed!

Love going here for my fancy business lunches. Great service, wonder gluten free options, beautiful atmosphere.

Enjoyed the Gorgonzola burger and Philly sandwich. The server and hostesses were great. It was nice sitting in a booth next to the fire pit inside on a rainy day.

DALLIN was our server....he made the night better! Bartenders were extremely slow. But thank god for our server.....!

Went two nights in a row because it was the most convenient place to go to from our hotel. Both nights the service was painfully slow. Both nights, our table servers (both of them really very nice) explained that the bar tenders were backed up which seemed like a bad excuse the second night around. We waited 40 min for our appetizer to arrive and over an hour for the dinner. Though the meals were tasty, we already looked up other restaurants to go to next time we are in the area.

We were celebrating our friends birthday. We're all in our 30s and mamas and we thought this place was the perfect mamas night out for some YUMMY food

Our server Hunter was outstanding! So knowledgeable and and patient. Never felt rushed and he showed up right on time for drinks, etc.

I consider myself a connoisseur of Easter brunch so my review may be harsh but honest. Every year I attend a different restaurant for Easter brunch, and I sadly have to say that Twigs was an incredible disappointment and my least favorite Easter brunch experience in years. I will point out, The service was excellent! But at Easter brunch we're coming there for the food. The selection was basic and limited. The desserts and pastries were bland and gross- not fresh baked but obviously mass purchased from Sysco most likely. As a vegetarian there was very little I could eat... some salad, asparagus and fruit. I was also grossly overcharged which I did not realize until later in the day and that's my fault for not checking the receipt carefully. 2 adult brunch's and 2 $6 mimosas + a 20% tip somehow came out to a $199 charge on my credit card. In My opinion, the brunch was worth maybe $15 and that's being generous. For $199 I could've treated not one but several people to a much better meal elsewhere. I will never be coming back to Twigs for any brunch event.

Easter Sunday bunch was great and will be a tradition for us. It was stunning but could use just a few tweaks on set up. They had the wrong serving utensils at the Buffett and then you had to reach across the table to the entirely other side to get items. It should just have all you need one side of the table because it was holding up the line on the other side as people were reaching over and it was awkward and uncomfortable. Other than that it was great!

Was seated right at 6:30 for reservation then waited over an hour for food which then was served cold. Very disappointed.

Opentable Diner

Let's start with a win—the steak bites appetizer. Juicy center, perfectly seasoned. Honestly, I could've stopped there and walked out happy. But no... I had hope. I ventured into the chicken pesto dinner, expecting something at least edible. Instead, I got a Sahara Desert special—dry, tough, and completely joyless. It wasn't just a one-off either—the chicken added to the salad was somehow even worse. Like... how do you mess up chicken twice in one meal? It tasted like it had been cooked three days ago and left under a heat lamp in a nursing home cafeteria. Now, credit where it's due: our waitress was amazing. Attentive, kind, and honestly the only redeeming part of the experience. She deserves a better kitchen crew behind her. As for the rest? Blah. Lame. Overpriced. I'm not dropping $150 for a two-person meal that left me wishing I had gone through the McDonald's drive through at 1:00 am for leftover nuggets. Yeah, it was that underwhelming. Final verdict: great service, one good appetizer dish, and a whole lot of nope. Save your money and your taste buds. 👎

It was a perfect afternoon. Food was great! Didn't feel rushed. Plenty of time to visit. And not really noisy

Tara

Loved the round table for my group of 7. Great service. The food was good but not amazing. Twigs has a good vibe but is a bit too noisy.

Such incredible food, pretty solid value. Terrible date, but will definitely come back with someone else lol
