I was there for nostalgia. I lived in Ferron as a kid. And it was nice to have a good place to stay. Bed was comfy. We watched TV and played cards for a little bit of our trip. It was nice to have a roomy table there. We checked in pretty early than ran out to Millsite. We came back and ate at the Grub Box. Food was affordable and good. Then we sat on the bench outside our front door to relax. It was fun to see things going on around town. Everyone is so kind! The town is still...
We stayed in one of the cabins and they were so nice, private, spacious, and CLEAN (that's a big deal to me?). I loved getting up in the morning and going to the store for my latte. Highly recommend. Excellent location and friendly staff.
We attended the Swell Jamboree 2024 last week. Had a great time. All of the lodge staff were great! They took great care of us. The rooms were spacious, comfortable and clean. We would recommend Big Mountain Lodge to anyone wanting explore the area. We will attend the Swell Jamboree next year based on the great experience we had last week and will be staying at the Big Mountain Lodge. BTW, don't forget to try the food and milk shakes at the Grub Box across the street....
