The atmosphere was great! The food and service was not good. I ordered the pan seared chicken and it was overcooked and tasteless. The hamburger tasted bad, not just mediocre but bad. The prices were high and we could have gotten much better food elsewhere. I would recommend avoiding this place for the food. Seems like a good place to camp, though we did not stay there.
We had a great dinner at the Campfire Grill! Our server, Kelsey, was absolutely wonderful friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home. The food was delicious, and the overall atmosphere was warm and inviting. We'll definitely be back!
We were excited to eat at Campfire Grill again. We had a reservation in advance. It was pretty busy. It took us an hour to get the alcoholic drinks. Our food took almost 90 minutes to get our food. And our waitress never checked on us. We had to find her. Most of our food was just ok, yucky chimchurri, sirloin was great. Cocktails and beer were great. Pizza pretty good. Salmon was dry and had no flavor. It's a beautiful setting, one of the nicest meals in the small town. But I think they have to do better to manage busy weekends.
I love this place, definitely a hidden gem in Bear Lake. We've come every year for the last 3+ years. Their food is AMAZING! The chef, Clive, was incredibly sweet to my daughter who was able to 'help' make her gluten free pizza and put toppings on it while sitting at the bar. She had a blast and felt so special! Thank you to the incredible staff. I'm vegetarian and while at first glance, the menu may not look very veggie-friendly, every single side, pizza and salad has been incredible. Do yourself a favor and order the asparagus with basalmic vinegar. Though the food may be pricey against other Bear Lake diner-type restaurants, the ambiance and grounds and food are well worth it! My only feedback is I wish their drinks were a bit stronger. While very good, they taste watered down.
Our server, Patience, was delightful. Food was very good. Because the restaurant was so busy it took a little time to receive our food once we ordered but it was worth the wait.
FANTASTIC SALAD & DRESSING, HOWEVER CHICKEN WAS OLD AND TOUGH AS A BOOT. BUT THE THINNG THAT WOULD KEEP ME FROM EVER GOING BACK THERE IS THE FACT THAT THE OWNERSHIP KEEPS ALL TIPS. THE EMPLOYEES DON'T GET ANY TIPS. TOO MANY LOUD KIDS RUNNING IN AND OUT OF THE OPEN SIDED RESTAURANT. ALSO, IF YOU'RE GOING TO HAVE AN OPEN SIDED RESTAURANT, KEEP THE WEEDS AND EXTRA TALL GRASS TRIMMED. THE OUTSIDE LOOKED LIKE AN ABANDONED LOT, NOT PLEASANT TO LOOK AT.
My family and I are in Garden City for the 1st time. We are camping and had a long day at the lake and didn’t feel like cooking. Went here to get takeout. Ordered the special which was a steak and a pizza. Ordered it cooked medium. When we cut into it back at our RV it was rare at best. Total bummer as this was a $50 plate. The pizza was good on the other hand.
Seated right away. Hostess was very nice. Table was sticky; could have used an actual wipe down-maybe the cleaner being used left it sticky. Service was a bit slow all night. Server was not very aware of different types of Spirits served so that was a little confusing until we showed her on the menu. Kitchen seemed a little backed-up as Appetizers and Mains took longer than normal to come out. Opportunities to offer additional rounds of drinks were never given (missed opportunity for the restaurant as those are usually very profitable). Some of us were not offered another round by the Server; she missed about half of the table. Maybe some Training or mock-service scenarios would be beneficial. Food overall was good for a vacation town. Nothing to get me rushing back. We ordered a couple of pizzas, baseball cut steak, roasted chicken, burgers, calamari (skip it; frozen pre-breaded), waffle fries with blue cheese fondue (was ok). Ordered our steak with the Chimichurri sauce and there was barely any in the sauce cup; also asked for Horseradish, received a very thin sauce that did have a Horseradish flavor but was thin like milk and had capers that sunk to bottom of sauce cup. Odd - more like a Chicken piccata sauce... Overall, good not great but could have been an off-night? I would give them another chance when back at Bear Lake.
Meh. Setting was great, but that was the highlight. I was expecting much more given the online reviews & the price point. Service was very slow. Most of the food was so-so except for the roasted chicken, which came recommended but was completely underseasoned and overcooked. Overall, I wouldn't recommend it and wouldn't go back; save your money and get a burger in town.
Nice! We had a pie and absolutely loved every tiny lil bite! Perfect for a 3 year anniversary dinner!!!

Casey was our server and was amazing! All other servers who brought food to us were very pleasant. The hostess stopped by to ask a few times how is everything. Thank you for giving us a great experience.
We always used to love the campfire grill with the food. No longer seems the upped par. It took excessively long to get our food with the excuse that they had big parties. Doubtful that we will go back
Horrible service, it took over 50 minutes from everyone being completed eating to receive our check, we ordered another round of drinks well before the food was delivered and received them well after everyone was finished eating
Beautiful setting and space. Service was very bad. Food was meh but very expensive. We came here a year ago and it was great. Not so great tonight
The ambience is lovely and the service was excellent. Our 17-yr-old has celiac, so we have to be very careful where we eat and how the food is prepared. The staff and the chef were very vigilant to my son's allergies. Everyone at our table loved their meal. I would def go again. We made reservations, but since it we went on a weeknight in the month of June, they were not necessary. However, if you plan on going anytime after July 4th, I highly recommend making reservations.
