We had multiple different plates and all of them were delicious.
An Absolutely Appalling Experience at La Veracruzana
I am utterly disgusted by the treatment I received at La Veracruzana. What I hoped would be a supportive visit to a local Mexican restaurant turned into the most humiliating and infuriating dining experience of my life. From the moment we walked in, the service was hostile, unprofessional, and frankly, racist.
We simply asked our waitress for clarification on the menu, and her response was immediate rudeness. When we politely pointed out her unacceptable demeanor, the situation escalated dramatically. Instead of addressing their employee's poor behavior, the staff, including a second waitress who was equally awful, seemed to make it their mission to make us feel unwelcome. It felt as though our ethnicity played a significant role in their disrespect, a truly heartbreaking realization at a establishment that should be celebrating Hispanic culture.
The situation devolved to the point where they refused to serve us, even after we had already paid for our drinks. When we voiced our displeasure at this outrageous treatment, they resorted to scare tactics, threatening to call the police and attempting to escort us out. We stood our ground, waiting for the police to arrive, not because we had done anything wrong, but to demonstrate that we would not be intimidated or silenced. We had every right to be there as paying customers and to voice our concerns about such appalling service.
To the owner of La Veracruzana: your staff is in desperate need of comprehensive training in customer service, respect, and cultural sensitivity. Regardless of a customer's ethnicity, every paying individual deserves to be treated with dignity. The complete lack of courtesy and the outright disrespect displayed by both waitresses was sickening. As someone who actively tries to support my Hispanic community, this experience has left a profoundly bitter taste.
I would strongly advise anyone considering dining at La Veracruzana to avoid it at all costs unless you wish to subject yourself to a truly distasteful and deeply upsetting experience.
Excellent tacos. Homemade
Excellent food and very friendly staff.
Very bad experience. I ordered three asada tacos, and the meat looks like it's from the dinosaur era.
It sucks no good food meat was cooked 2 weeks ago
Stopped off on the way home from a trip and did not regret it. Food was BOMB and the service was great. Worth it, highly recommend. Chicken quesadilla was fantastic.

About 2 months ago, June 4 to be exact, we came to eat at this place. My son lost his wallet, we are not sure if it was in this place where he lost it, but if you know anything I would greatly appreciate it... by the way, very good Mexican food ?
