Ray's Tavern Reviews
I never pass green river without stopping at Rays! I’m always happy at this place for everyone! Awesome Burgs and Beer.

Ray's Tavern offers delicious, high-quality burgers that remind customers of home. The portion sizes are generous and well-priced. The relaxed atmosphere and friendly service make it a great spot for those with dietary restrictions. The homemade fries, cut and fried on the spot, are a must-try and considered some of the best fries around, surpassing even those from Virginia. The selection of beer and wine adds to the experience. Despite occasional minor issues like sewer problems, the staff’s welcoming attitude and the inviting environment make visitors feel at home. Many customers have enjoyed their time here, describing it as a place where they feel like they've spent dinner with friends. Ray’s Tavern has been a favorite spot for over 30 years, known for its delicious food and friendly atmosphere. Visitors often comment on the good old burger and fries, which remind them of the classic tavern foods from the past. The fries are fresh and yummy, though not extra crisp and sometimes needing a bit of salt. The atmosphere is lively, with friendly banter and sometimes a bit of colorful language, adding to the authentic tavern experience. The cheeseburger, often a half pound of ground beef, is served with perfect grill marks and makes for a satisfying meal. Overall, the small-town vibe, great food, and welcoming staff make Ray's Tavern a beloved local spot.
