Absolutely amazing food and people. Clean cooking area and great variety of food. Stayed in green river area for almost a full month. I have eaten here at least 10 times and it was really good every time. Great hamburgers and chicken sandwiches and salads. Had the rebeye steak twice. Best French fries in all of utah. I highly recommend Ray's for a quick stop and food.

The cheeseburger was actually good but the fries sucked and tap water and the server didn’t even ask if we needed or wanted any drinks. The service sucked. We aren’t from here and we’re passing by and we definitely didn’t feel welcome at all! That chick with long dark hair. U probably need to find a different job not around people!

Atmosphere definitely has the 5-star dive bar local feel which is nice. Service is subjective however definitely not friendly if you’re not ordering anything substantial off the menu. The children serving the customers would prefer to interact with locals and welcome the locals. The children serving customers have a real difficult time communicating with people who are just passing through. I do find it hard to believe that the local community actually supports and keeps this restaurant open. I also find it hard to believe that this local pub won Utah’s best in 2021. Lastly, when your customer orders a side of fries and all you serve leftover crumbs you get a 1-star. It was great to give this place a try once. Once is enough.

Our go to place when we drive this way. Great service. Great burgers. Small place that prefers cash and only one check per table. They had a slight problem with the sewers today in the area but I suspect it will be fix quick and not an issue in the future.
Just learned this morning 07/13/25 that Virginia has the best fries. Wrong! Rays not only has fantastic burgers but also the best fries ever. Cut and fried on the spot. Delicious and definitely the best in the west and clearly beats Virginia. If time allows worth the visit (don’t buy that crap at the gas stations). Been a customer for over 30 years. Enjoy!
