I wanted to like this place, but my experience was a 3 rating at best. It seems like a place that might have better days sometimes, so i might try it again. I had chicken fried steak and eggs with hashbrowns and a pancake. The eggs were over cooked, the hashbrowns were deep fried pre-made squares or ovals then cut up. The deep fry oil must have been old because the hashbrowns had that old oil nasty flavor. The chicken fried steak was overcooked and tough with very little flavor....

I use to love the food here but the last few times were not good. The bacon and hashbrowns was about all I truly liked. The chicken fried steak wasn't good. They use to have the best scones but not one of the 6 of us finished ours.

I went to Chick's Cafe with my girlfriend and her son and we loved it!!! We all got different meals. I had the chicken fried chicken and it was delicious!!! My girlfriend had the roast beef dinner and loved it! Her son had a grilled chicken sandwich and liked it so much he traded it with his mom because he knew she would love it even more than he did!!! Scones were a really nice finish as well!!!
The young man that served us was the most polite server I've ever...
