It’s absolutely awesome! If you love the 50-60ds era you will absolutely enjoy this place. They play good music and have old style food. The food stand and tables fit the esthetic great.

We stopped here twice. Once for lunch and again a week later for breakfast. It’s a perfect midway stop between Salt Lake airport and Moab. More importantly, the food is delicious. people are friendly and the portions are generous. Helper is a cool town as well.
We like to support local business, so we stopped on here our way to Moab. Very cute town with one main street and quite a few business's. We both had a usual breakfast, eggs, bacon, potatoes and toast. Pretty good, standard food and satisfied the appetite. The surprise was the waitress; friendly, happy, singing along with the music playing overhead. It was a very nice way to start the morning. We would recommend this restaurant if by chance you happen to be going this way. Stop in and sing along.
Food was very tasty and the menu had many options which means anytime we travel through Helper we will need to stop to try more of the options. Great and friendly staff, very cool old building on Main Street. I love the inside, it was bright and a great atmosphere.
We just had an awesome lunch…. BLT with chips and a french dip with fries… both the best! No IPA beer selection but enjoyed a couple other of options. The service was attentive and friendly.
Cute place with outdoor seating and good food.
The service was helpful and friendly and the hot dog was delectable and very reasonably priced. The bread was crispy on the edges, yet soft in the middle while the hot dog was top tier. I will be coming back for many more hot dogs.
The food was great and hot. The serverings were large.Visied area for 10 days. Tried other places to eat in the area but kept going back because quality o9f food. The service was excellent and staff was very friendly.

We were driving from Salt Lake City to Moab and needed to find a place for lunch. I saw the reviews on Tripadvisor, and we were so glad we stopped. The reuben and omelet dishes were excellent. Be sure to order the scone as a side. This is not your typical scone. It was like a giant fried fritter. OMG so delicious.
Our family chose to stop in Helper because of the Muffler Man and were thrilled to find Balanced Rock! We were seated immediately for lunch and were charmed by the wait staff…she called us all “kiddos…and the tasty food. The breakfast was delicious and very generous, and our group especially loved The Wedge! Thank you for a perfect lunch!
I work at a local physician's office and we frequently order lunch from Balance Rock. The Anasazi melt is fabulous! On 7/29/21 we tried to phone in an order for the office. We called for probably 45 minutes to an hour and kept getting the voice mail. It was 10:30am. We finally had an employee call from her cell phone and it was answered right away. She told the girl that answered the phone that we wanted to place an order for pick up and she asked for how many. When she told her it was for the office, the girl on the other end told us she was too busy to take the order and asked if we could call back in 20 minutes. We called back in 20 minutes...and guess what? The call went to voice mail. Needless to say we did not put in our order and went somewhere else.
Helper, UT is a gem ! Great evening exploring the historic downtown topped off with a great meal at Balance Rock eatery & pub. Locals are amazing ?
We were driving past Helper and pulled in to find a place to eat. A woman in a coffee shop recommended this restaurant. What a find! Great food, wonderful staff, interesting decor. Would highly recommend this place!
