Gold Fish Asian Bistro & Sushi

Have been to Gold Fish a few times now. Every time they give us excellent food and service. Today we got the Gyoza(a must every time), the dynamite roll, playboy roll, and colorado roll, as well as General Tso’s chicken(also always a must for us). We loved every bite. Thank you Gold Fish!!

Playboy rolls had tuna on three pieces and the rest were topped with avocado. They didn’t put cucumber in the roll.
Summer citrus they didn’t put avocado in the roll. They put little slivers of cucumber.
My rolls were falling apart when I would try I pick them up and presentation was very bad. Some rolls were cut huge and others small, not consistent sizes

Based on my experience, it's a pretty basic American Chinese establishment, but they get the job done.

The sesame chicken and fried rice I ordered here (for about $15 + tip) was great for takeout standards! Somehow, the chicken retained some of its crisp after sitting inside a closed plastic container whilst swimming in sauce! They didn't overdo the batter either, which is a huge plus! most of the chicken was actually chicken!

The fried rice was good, but nothing impressive.

If you need to eat a ton of good food without breaking the bank, then Gold Fish is a good choice!

Delicious food! The waiter made a few mistakes with our order, but promptly fixed them and didn't charge us for the mistakes. Still a great place to eat sushi and Chinese food. Thank you.

This is a decent little spot for sushi if not looking to leave the area. Food is pretty good and they have saki which is a plus. Very affordable. I am not sure why some of these places use their bar area and outside counter space as storage. It really takes away from the experience and makes it feel like you are in a storage room.

Sesame chicken was not the worst was not the best Definitely lacking in flavor. The fried rice was bland I’m not sure what it is but the food is missing the yumminess a person finds in Chinese food. Also I noticed that there are misspelled words in menu

I really hate to give a bad review, I’m local to this area and I wish nothing but the best for businesses here because it’s hard for them to survive in this area. But our experience today was just not ok. The “waitress” who helped us today unnerved us big time. She sat us and immediately went to making wontons at the bar counter. Didn’t ask us what we’d like to drink, no waters, nothing. We wait almost 10 minutes before she comes back and asks what we’d like so we ask for a couple waters to start. She brings us waters after a couple minutes and I notice she is still wearing the same gloves she had on when she sat us, gave us menus, and went back to filling the wontons. The SAME gloves. So my husband and I kind of made it a game to see if she’d change her gloves at all. Nope. She brought us our edemame and seaweed salad- same gloves on. We watched her walk over to the phone to answer it- same gloves on. Then went back to filling wonton wrappers. I was grossed out and contemplating leaving at this point. We were relieved when another guy brought our sushi out. My roll was flavorless, and the green onions on top looked as if they’d been drying out and old for a long time. My husband’s rolls were pretty unexciting in flavor as well. When our waitress took us up to the front to pay she was still wearing those gloves!!! It makes you wonder, if they’re doing something like that in front of customers what in the world are they doing back in the kitchen where you can’t see?! Sadly, we will not return. And I won’t be able to recommend this place to anyone else. I take food/kitchen safety very seriously and clearly these employees do not.
