The server took great care of us

This was our first—and definitely last—visit.

To be fair, part of the blame is on me. I ignored the obvious red flags. First: no greeting from the woman working there—unless you count the near-contemptuous look she gave us as we approached the door. Second: a guy sitting at a nearby table bumped me with his chair on his way out and didn’t say a word. No “excuse me,” no “sorry”—nothing. Third: after we sat down, the same woman didn’t tell us we had to go to the counter to order. After I placed the order, she brought the food, but never checked in to see if we were enjoying it or needed anything else.

As for the food, the ideas behind the menu choices are quite good. Unfortunately, the food itself was quite mediocre.

We were in town for work. We're from Las Vegas and eat out a lot. We've never felt more unwelcome in any restaurant than we did at Spitz Cottonwood.

My advice? Skip it and eat next door at Bandit’s Grill and Bar. Friendly staff, great service and terrific food.

This food was amazing. I had the best salad ever. It was so good. My son had a wrap it was smaller than expected, but he said the taste was excellent!

This place definitely values the winter time ski and snowboard folks more than it's summertime counterparts I came in on a Saturday late afternoon with my family it seemed like three people were running this joint. It was really hard to get someone just because of how much demand everyone else was asking for them so just be careful when you go to this particular one I would highly recommend the one on sugarhouse that seems more well staffed. Food was great Loved everything and they were extremely patient with my son who is a toddler.

Spitz catered our business team's holiday party. It was perfect. My staff all loved it. There were options for every dietary need and it was well priced for the food your received. I really appreciated the service. We'll definitely use Spitz again for our catering needs.

love this location for Spitz! best in all of the SLC area locations, IMO. great, friendly staff! love that they have 3 of the dips on the side counter to use as we wish. ;-). I do wish they would return to the pita bread (it had a unique, almost light-crispy texture they used to have. now their pita is unremarkable-even tho their gyro meat is extra yummy. I like to get the extra-meat option so I have some left over to add to my fried egg the next morning!

Everything on the menu here is to die for !! I haven’t had Mediterranean food this good ever !! By far the best food and service by a long shot !!! And to top it all off you can grab a draft beer and kick back in the super cozy laid back environment!!!

Dude, Josh may or may not be the owner, but one thing is sure. He owns this place!!

If Josh isn’t in a management position of some sort he should be. You can tell he’s a nice guy and a leader

and the food, he hooked it up with his favorite Berliner wrap and added some banana peppers to balance it out nicely.

My wife and I always look forward to spitz but tonight was exceptional

Did take out re mix bowl heat it up much more delicious warm than cold. Had it ready in minutes on line ordering easy ! Plus you will have leftovers great for the next day.

The fries weren't the best quality and there was no toilet paper in the bathroom.
