“My gf and I were looking for a new Chinese restaurant last night and were fortunate to find this place. Our meal was amazing- she got the Pon Pon Chicken dinner and I had the Mongolian beef. It was hot , fresh and way above our expectations. The cream cheese wontons were fantastic- definitely not the frozen ones we’ve had elsewhere. We both highly recommend Mountain City!!”

“I used to live in Holladay and was aware of Auntie Rae's, but had never stopped in. I now live in New Jersey and reached out to Auntie Rae to put together a beautiful baby shower for my best friend. Because of the distance, the bulk of our planning was done over email, and then we met in person to nail down final details when I finally was in Utah. Rae was responsive, helpful, and answered all of my many questions. She made it such an easy thing to coordinate. Everything is provided by the venue and is included in the price of the buffet. All you really have to do is bring your own additional decorations, if you like--I brought some bud vases, a personalized sign, and the baby shower games. The food was absolutely delicious and every guest (there were about 20 of us) was so complimentary of the entire thing. We all especially loved the scones and the fruit pavlovas. If you are looking for a charming, whimsical, and cozy location for your special event, this is such a sweet place! It was an amazing experience for a very reasonable price, and I recommend Auntie Rae's wholeheartedly.”

“I just tried my first trial with Fed Up and I’m seriously impressed! The food is fresh, flavorful, and satisfying — which can be hit or miss with healthy options, but they really nailed it. The pickup process was smooth, and the employee helping me was super friendly. The shop itself is clean and well-organized. Overall, a great first experience!”

“We had a great experience here, we ordered the tempura shrimp and gyoza both were delicious. I ordered tonkatsu ramen and the noodles were perfect and the broth flavorful and chasu pork tender and full of flavor , my wife said her chicken yaki soba was excellent but will order extra radish next time. Our waitress was attentive and the service was fast pretty much a perfect experience”

“I love this coffee shop! It’s my go to, whether I am just out and about early or grabbing a bite before I head out for a hike. The croissants are amazing, and the service is fast and friendly. I hope soon they go back to accepting travel cups, though, or at least get a new lid design for hot coffees — mine from this morning dripped all over me and nearly ruined a great outfit. I am still leaving five stars, and will go back, but wanted to put in my vote for a sustainable cup option.”

“Leslie's offers pastries and more. Breads and rolls. Cookies. Cakes. Meat rolls. And wow is there a nice selection pastries and sweets. We wanted to check out the shop and get just a light snack before lunch. One Danish and two small Apple Finger pastries. Honestly, we could have grabbed one of more than four dozen items. All looked great.”

“I am a cautious restaurant eater, there are certain foods I hesitate to eat so at the Thai Orchid I read every item in each dish and picked one I felt I could eat and it turned out great! I ate the whole thing. Awesome! I’ll eat there again when in the area. I’m from southern Utah.”

“Got to try new taco box today! You can get different spice levels for sauces and different meats. We got the chicken and pork with medium/hot salsas. Both were so flavorful, sauces were delicious and we loved all the toppings! They said it feeds 3 but we fed 3 adults and there was plenty of leftovers so it could definitely feed more! Best part was all we had to do was heat up the meats and tortillas and lunch was ready! We will definitely be ordering again and trying the steak.”

“This has been a go to restaurant for Laura and me for the last 6+ years. The menu is sensational, the value is what you would expect in the service at times slow is always very friendly. They have some very unique curry as well as appetizers on the menu. If you like Thai food this is a must if you’re not sure if you like Thai food you will be one over by their menu. We have enjoyed it every single time and we will always go back.”

“Layla is not just amazing food, they make you feel like you are dining at their home! You do not have this impressive experience anywhere else in Utah but at Layla Grill. The portions are generous and the prices are affordable. I can’t say enough about Layla Grill I wish I could eat there every day. They transform you to the Mediterranean with the atmosphere and food. You must experience Layla Grill.”

“Over the coles BBQ has some hands down best ribs and brisket I’ve had. Definitely recommend bbq. Granato’s has their famous sandwiches and the best calzone awesome to have all these delicious places all in one spot.”

“Late night snack search. New to SLC and we were told about Crown by our relocation agent. Found one open late enough to make a visit. Easy and friendly at the counter. Food came out quickly and it was very good. Spouse liked here burger. I had a souvlaki wrap (they call it a gyro here) and it was good but the chicken itself could have used a bit more seasoning. Nonetheless, it had nice big chicken pieces, well made and quite filling.

Definitely will be in our regular rotation during our time here.”

“Don’t let the old decor fool you. Summerhays is fantastic restaurant that never disappoints. The food always tastes hot and fresh and the staff is always super nice. The atmosphere has a charming old time feel and is always clean. I don’t leave reviews often but after coming here for so long it deserves some praise. You won’t be disappointed!”

“Love this place! I travel a lot and had to move away, but I always take my family back here every time I'm in town. Food is delicious, my husband loves it and my kids overeat. Our favorite savory dishes are Sesame Chicken, General Tso's Chicken, Spicy Pepper Beef. Side dishes such as vegetable fried rice, egg drop soup, hot and sour soup, and cream cheese wontons are very basic but they are made well. I really took it for granted when I was living there. Now the next best place is in New York.”

I think those hired need a little bit better training, both of the young women (both very nice) who are working struggled to answer questions I had about the menu like “what is on the Mexican hot dog” or “what comes on the American hot dog”.
Or possibly add descriptions for each item!”

“I’ve never had a bad experience at any of their locations and the highland spot is no different. Their bánh mì is incredible and hard to stray from (that perfect bread!), but their pho is also really incredible. Really you can’t go wrong.”
