“Our first experience with Tsunami on 9th was incredible. Everyone on the team there, from the young gentleman that greeted and seated us, to the manager who spoke with us and especially Marley who served us...each one was amazing!!! We only seem to be offered 1 to 5 stars, but these 3 teams members went above and beyond our expectations. Frankly they each deserve 500 stars instead of 5 stars. Additionally the food was beyond excellent and delicious!! We will be back and hope that this honest review continues to allow room for us and our friends again next time!!! Very well done Tsunami on 9th team.....all of you!!!!”

Hero is a place I’ve brought many of my loved ones-to share the wonderful food/experience. It’s a great place to go for a lowkey lunch or a night out. Highly, highly recommend.”

“We just moved to SLC from Toronto, Canada. I was sort of sad to see the lack of good authentic Asian food around here but we came across this place after car shopping. I am Korean and having lived in Korea town in Toronto for many years, I was glad to have come across this place yesterday. It wasn’t the best I’ve had, but the best in SLC by far. The bimbimbap is a 10/10. Love how they actually use the stone bowl to crisp the rice. A lot of places don’t do that anymore. Jajangmyun, 7/10, could amp up the flavour a a lot more and a bit watery. Banchan, 8/10, the oi much in (cucumber kimchi) and musangchae (shredded radish) tasted like what grandma used to make. I mean all in all, not bad for what SLC has to offer, which is pretty weak on the food/restaurants front. But finding little gems here and there, and this would be one of them!”

“Very good breakfast sandwich. I had the NYC bodego sandwich. Bacon was perfectly cooked and easy to bite through. The over easy egg was likewise cooked perfectly. The ciabatta bun was excellent, too. Tots are enjoyable as well. I tried the bechamel sauce with the tots, which is a good combo. Highly recommend for a really good breakfast sandwich.”

If you are looking for a spot to eat lunch at, support your local chefs in the RC willey parking lot.”

“We do not dine out often due to the poor food quality of many restaurants; however, when our friends found this organic, gluten-free diner, I was intrigued. The food was an absolute celebration of life. Delectable delights danced on an ambrosial causeway of artistic creation few eateries achieve. Our table ordered a variety of entrees and drinks. We started with complimentary chips, avocado and verde sauce. Very tasty. For the main course, I choose enchiladas and was curious about the horchata (rice milk soaked in cream with cinnamon), so I had this as well. Normally, I do not order specialty drinks, but their horchata was an exceptional experience as was the hand-squeezed limeade. I highly recommend both. Reading many of the other reviews that criticized the room temperature water, the service, and the ambiance, I must adamantly disagree. The best temperature for water when dining is room temperature. And their water is finely filtered and refreshing. The service may be perceived as slow, but I love being left to chat and laugh with my party. I relish this time. A meal out should be relaxing in a friendly, pleasant atmosphere without feeling rushed—and it was. The dining area is a little noisy, like most restaurants in this country. As an experienced sound engineer, I would recommend some sound absorbers blended into the corners, some appropriate picturesque art absorbers on the walls, and maybe a row of carpet down the main walkway to absorb sound and define the lovely wait staff’s path. The price: well worth it. You will not be disappointed. Spend without regret, and enjoy the articulation of tastes that shall frolic upon thy palate. They have a bunch of snacks, spices, and drinks around the store and I think they may have had fresh baked goods aside from the baklava, but we got here closer to the end of the day so I think they ran out. The only thing I wish they could do would be to post the prices of things. It was hard to make a decision on items to buy because we weren't sure how much they cost.

There isn't a parking lot here but the street parking on the side street is pretty wide open.”
