“Our first experience with Tsunami on 9th was incredible. Everyone on the team there, from the young gentleman that greeted and seated us, to the manager who spoke with us and especially Marley who served us...each one was amazing!!! We only seem to be offered 1 to 5 stars, but these 3 teams members went above and beyond our expectations. Frankly they each deserve 500 stars instead of 5 stars. Additionally the food was beyond excellent and delicious!! We will be back and hope that this honest review continues to allow room for us and our friends again next time!!! Very well done Tsunami on 9th team.....all of you!!!!”

We got sundubu with pork, which was good and hit the spot. We also got beef bulgogi as part of a combo deal. However, we didn’t love the beef bulgogi. I feel like it wasn’t super flavorful. Overall though, this place hit the spot when craving Korean food!”

On W and Th open but will close mid afternoon between lunch and dinner hours but open all day Sat and I think on Sun. Recently remodeled. Everything was excellent.”

“This place is legit. One of the best Korean options in the SLC area. Super flavorful and fresh. Very friendly staff. It’s order at the counter service. I so appreciate that they don’t accept tips and just bake it into the final price. That’s very refreshing. Good take out option and also dine in.”

“Excellent! The food is fresh and flavorful. Cooked very well. I tried the Orange Chicken and Beef with Broccoli. The person worth me had Sweet Chicken and Lo Mein and Spring rolls. ALL of it was good! Plus, the place is very clean and the service was top notch! We were greeted immediately and the young man at the counter explained how the self serve tray options worked. Very fairly priced. Overall a great experience. I'm tired of wasing my money at Panda only to get sub-par food. This will be my new go-to for Chinese food! I highly recommend you try it!”

“Creole & Sliders Cafe was such a lovely experience! I visited with my sister and niece, both of whom are regulars. I ordered the Shrimp Po’boy; it was so delicious, with the shrimp having a nice crunch and the homemade sauce adding a special touch. Super flavorful! The corn bread is buttery and sweet and the sweet tea has the perfect amount of sweetness to it. The owners were both so kind and attentive. I highly recommend coming here if you want something fresh with a homemade touch. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming. Super yummy — food!! I definitely recommend stopping by. (:”

“Found my new go to boba spot! I ordered a passion fruit green tea (no sugar) with strawberry agar bubbles perfectly balanced and super refreshing. Service was excellent; the cashier was friendly, attentive, and offered helpful suggestions and samples. Will definitely be back!”

First time trying Vertical Deli and overall, it was an ok experience.

I haven’t had a lot of Vegan food and after hearing a lot of good things about Vertical Diner, I wanted to give this place a try as it’s very close to my house. We ordered the Vertical Reuben and the SLC Cheesesteak, and I can’t really recommend either of them. The “corned beef” looked and tasted just like the “sliced steak” and while I’m not an expert with vegan food, I feel like the descriptions were a bit misleading. The bread to filling ratio was disproportioned where I feel like I was eating more bread than anything else, more so on the Reuben than the cheesesteak. The fillings on both sandwiches were lacking in salt a bit as well. The best thing about the meal were the fries that were cooked well.

The staff were nice and the restaurant was well-kept, so that’s a plus!

Not sure if it was just an off day, but probably won’t go back for the sandwiches.”

“A cute little Middle Eastern bakery that has opened my eyes to how delicious Middle Eastern food can be! The staff are also very helpful and friendly. I can recommend you pay a visit if you're interested in trying something new! The only thing I will note is you may need to be careful if you have any allergies to sesame or dairy. I don't, which is why I can recommend it so highly!”

“We do not dine out often due to the poor food quality of many restaurants; however, when our friends found this organic, gluten-free diner, I was intrigued. The food was an absolute celebration of life. Delectable delights danced on an ambrosial causeway of artistic creation few eateries achieve. Our table ordered a variety of entrees and drinks. We started with complimentary chips, avocado and verde sauce. Very tasty. For the main course, I choose enchiladas and was curious about the horchata (rice milk soaked in cream with cinnamon), so I had this as well. Normally, I do not order specialty drinks, but their horchata was an exceptional experience as was the hand-squeezed limeade. I highly recommend both. Reading many of the other reviews that criticized the room temperature water, the service, and the ambiance, I must adamantly disagree. The best temperature for water when dining is room temperature. And their water is finely filtered and refreshing. The service may be perceived as slow, but I love being left to chat and laugh with my party. I relish this time. A meal out should be relaxing in a friendly, pleasant atmosphere without feeling rushed—and it was. The dining area is a little noisy, like most restaurants in this country. As an experienced sound engineer, I would recommend some sound absorbers blended into the corners, some appropriate picturesque art absorbers on the walls, and maybe a row of carpet down the main walkway to absorb sound and define the lovely wait staff’s path. The price: well worth it. You will not be disappointed. Spend without regret, and enjoy the articulation of tastes that shall frolic upon thy palate. They have a bunch of snacks, spices, and drinks around the store and I think they may have had fresh baked goods aside from the baklava, but we got here closer to the end of the day so I think they ran out. The only thing I wish they could do would be to post the prices of things. It was hard to make a decision on items to buy because we weren't sure how much they cost.

There isn't a parking lot here but the street parking on the side street is pretty wide open.”
