La Oaxaqueña Reviews
Amazing Oaxacan food! I had the mole negro. They serve it with fresh, handmade tortillas.
The food was amazing! Everything I’ve been looking for since living in Oaxaca
Not your typical Mexican restaurant, I love the unique menu and the variety! Authentic experience indeed. Soup was comforting and the tlayuda was a great sample of meats! I can tell the tortilla is fresh and made in house. Will be back to try more things!

La Oaxaqueña serves delicious food that exceeds expectations. The staff provides friendly service with a smile, creating a welcoming atmosphere. The menu features standouts like tlyudas, papusas, mole, and cactus plate, all made with warm tortillas and flavorful salsa choices. Customers have praised the cheese & chicken and revuelta pupusas, noting they were hot and fresh. The fried yuca was also called crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. For mole lovers, having an order of enmoladas brings so much homey comfort. La Oaxaqueña is vibrant, consistent, and authentic; nothing but true to the Oaxaqueño culture. The food is always great and fresh if looking for something authentic. The atmosphere adds to the experience, with customers noting the restaurant vibes were on point. This restaurant is a must-visit, with many willing to drive hours to return for its authentic Oaxacan flavors. However, it’s advised to avoid ordering from the website, as there have been issues with order processing. Calling to order or using Grubhub is recommended instead.
