“Good food and good folks, it's a taco stand in a parking lot, and with their setup it's the best one you could imagine. Large selection of drinks, menu items, & toppings, you won't regret ordering the sopa and loading it up!“

“Chicken tacos were very good 5/5. El pastor was 4/5. Sauces were good. Nice place. I would only have one suggestion for us non native costumers…and that would be to have full meals instead of ordering each item separately. That’s why I could just order tacos with beans and rice and the only choice would be what meat I want. Good food though.“

“I have eaten at a lot of taco stands and Roxy always stands out. The Tortas she makes are amazing, huge and so very tasty. And when I'm broke I don't klnow where else i can head for a couple dollar tacos and come out full in the end. The choice of meats here allows you to eat several times a week without getting that burnt out feeling. Her Queasadillas are huge and so very good. If you haven't eaten here DO IT!“

“If you are a mole lover, be prepared to fall in love with La Oaxaqueña.
I have family from Oaxaca and go years without seeing them, but having an order of enmoladas brings me so much homey comfort.
La Oaxaqueña is vibrant, consistent, and authentic; nothing but true to the Oaxaqueño culture.
I've had the mole, pupusas, and the tlayuda and enjoyed each of them.
I do ask for the enmoladas to be filled with beans instead of chicken for a vegetarian option. They also used chicken that had bone in the first few times I ordered them, and was a bit put off; the bean substitution keeps me satisfied without the bone digging.
My only real complaint with La Oaxaqueña is the restroom - it is clearly an afterthought. If I'm washing my hands before a meal, I'd like to believe the bathroom is as clean as the rest of the establishment; right now, it's not something I'd want to be eating out of. 🥲“

“This is most certainly a place where yuppie Chitty people do not hang out. My boy toy Noy Noy eats here alot I guess. He said he wanted to take me on a date, so we webt to El Tropicana. I was in heaven... good food, no chitty people, and or tesla vehicles around, and get this, they don't even have bottled water! I love it. Best Mexicans around.“

“Probably the best Mexican food I've ever eaten. My husband and I were just passing through and saw other reviews. The entire family were involved and made us feel so welcome. I had probably the best, most original margarita I've ever had. Without hesitation I would recommend you eat here“

“I’ve been going to La Puente for years. This is my favorite Mexican restaurant. Every time I’m in Salt Lake I make it a point to go back. Usually getting the smothered burrito with cheese and onions. Definitely recommend their huevos rancheros..“

“This place is the best! My favorite go-to for a great burrito at any time of day. I haven't tried many of their dishes, but there are a lot that look very good. I just can't think about wasting any opportunity to get one of their burritos!
Parking: The fact it is always open (24 hours), there is always parking & it never gets too busy!
Kid-friendliness: Lobby feels very welcoming and safe, there's good latin music & I've never felt worried about my safety“

“Food was excellent and the staff was very friendly. Have to knock off a star for the insane prices. Got a bowl for $11.85 with brisket. The extra brisket charge was $7.40, so with tax I paid over $21 for one entree. No guac, no sides, no drink. I know inflation is real and underreported but this is just clobbering people.“

“Wow. Wow. Wow. Do not miss out on the best Tacos in SLC at an excellent price. If you are in the mood for Tacos and Burritos this is the spot. They also have tamales so will be trying those next time! We got pollo, carnitas, Al pastor, and carne asada street tacos. They looked so delicious and so well filled we forgot to take a photo. Also got a bomb burrito con pollo as well. All of the meats were perfect without the salsa. But with it - squeeze of lemon, yes lemon- just a complete party package. 100% worth ordering and hanging out to eat them hot and fresh. Highly recommend! To the owners we will be back! Two hungry eaters are filled to brim for ~22 bucks. Can barely get fast food for that. Seriously just go.“
