“I recently visited La Cevicheria in Salt Lake City, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish! If you're a fan of fresh, delicious ceviche, this is the place to go. The flavors were perfectly balanced, with just the right amount of tanginess and spice. Every bite tasted incredibly fresh, and the portion sizes were generous.

The service was also top-notch. Our waiter, Jordan, was awesome—friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive without being overbearing. He made sure we were well taken care of and even gave us great recommendations on the menu. His enthusiasm added to the overall vibe of the place.

“This is a small, family ran and owned business. They are so inviting and excited to have you there. The owner took very good care of our table. Food was delicious and authentic! I got the posole, it had a good amount of meat and packed with flavor! I got my kids some carne asada, and the asada was so flavorful. My mom got the lengua tacos, they were soft and delicious! They also had a variety of house made salsas, and they were all delicious and paired very well with the food! Can't wait to go back!

Parking: Small parking lot. But it is a small place so doesn't need anything bigger.

“This was a "Sweet Sixteen" party for our granddaughter with about 30 guests. The facility was an excellent place to hold any party with guests up to 50. It was still decorated for the Christmas Holidays and with the birthday additions, it was a perfect place to hold our celebration. Everyone had a grand time. Of course, since it is a party facility owned by the Red Iguana Restaurant, how can you say anything wouldn't be top notch?“

“If you are a mole lover, be prepared to fall in love with La Oaxaqueña.

I have family from Oaxaca and go years without seeing them, but having an order of enmoladas brings me so much homey comfort.

La Oaxaqueña is vibrant, consistent, and authentic; nothing but true to the Oaxaqueño culture.

I've had the mole, pupusas, and the tlayuda and enjoyed each of them.

I do ask for the enmoladas to be filled with beans instead of chicken for a vegetarian option. They also used chicken that had bone in the first few times I ordered them, and was a bit put off; the bean substitution keeps me satisfied without the bone digging.

My only real complaint with La Oaxaqueña is the restroom - it is clearly an afterthought. If I'm washing my hands before a meal, I'd like to believe the bathroom is as clean as the rest of the establishment; right now, it's not something I'd want to be eating out of. 🥲“

Service is always good, quick and nice. Food always hot, though I will say sometimes the salsa is really good, sometimes it's not as good. “The ordering is simple. There’s a tablet when you can place your order and make customizations to it. After it’s done they bring it out to you and you can add salsa, crema, and other toppings to your hearts content. I got an Al pastor burrito that was more than enough for one meal and it was just over $8. The pork was cooked just like I like it, with a bit of char on some of the prices for added texture. Along with the melted cheese, soft tortilla, and other parts of the burrito, I would definitely recommend it. This is the place if you want quality food for great prices.“
