“The only way you will be getting the money back from me and you can get the money back to the account if you’re still in there I will give them back in my bank and you will have to pay me the amount I will give it in your bank and then you can pay me the rest in your money I have no idea why I have to go back and get the amount I don’t have any more I just have no money left to go back in the money and“
“In general Cafe Rio will get your drive-thru order right. Although the last time I went through the drive-thru both of our salads were missing the guacamole. I'm not sure if that was my error or if the menu has changed and guacamole is no longer standard???“
“I see why there is long a wait here every night. The food we had today was spectacular! We've experienced Tex-Mex in Austin and Cal-Mex in Southern California. Red Iguana more than holds it own against those two famous areas of the country for Mexican cuisine. This place looks like a hole in the wall from all the stickers on the door and windows, but don't let those fool you. This establishment serves up world-class Mexican food. This is a must visit restaurant in Salt Lake City.“
“The food was good. I think it comes from a different part of Mexico than what I am used to? Lots of mole and sauces. Tasted home cooked and a great environment. Friendly staff. Clean. I love spicey dishes and they didn't have much as far as spice goes, but, again, I think thay is because of the part of Mexico this food originates?“
“Honey let me tell you.. It felt like I was back home in Cali.. The food here is the best taco in SLC.... I about died when I took my first bite.. The meat is so tender and seasoned very well.. The Sweet girl who works there is so sweet be patient with her she's by herself and does the best she can.... Go eat here!!!!! You will make you taste buds smile ?“
“This was a "Sweet Sixteen" party for our granddaughter with about 30 guests. The facility was an excellent place to hold any party with guests up to 50. It was still decorated for the Christmas Holidays and with the birthday additions, it was a perfect place to hold our celebration. Everyone had a grand time. Of course, since it is a party facility owned by the Red Iguana Restaurant, how can you say anything wouldn't be top notch?“
“I stumbled upon this place in a parking lot. I convinced my wife to try it (she's not a food truck person) and she loved it! He let us sample the meat since she's not familiar with a lot of Mexican-type food which was nice. He also gives HUGE portions. He's not skimping on the meat and I appreciate it. Def worth the price and super nice guy. Recommend highly“
“This place has the best tostadas in the city. By tostadas, I mean the plain, flat, tortilla shells that you can pile on beans, cuerritos, or ground beef on. Some people think you can buy tosadas at your local supermarket, but those are not authentic, and they do not compare.“
“The Birria tacos are authentic and amazing. I prefer the soft shell, but both are good. The taste is outstanding. I love that they use this Birria beef and just stick with it and nothing else. I will be going back here for Carnitas and Al Pastor. If you do not like any spice at all, this place is not for you. If you like some spice to quite a bit of spice, you will LOVE it!. The kitchen was incredibly clean, the employee was wonderful, kind, helpful and the eating area was spotless. This is a must!Parking: It is in a very small strip all next to a cycle and has plenty of parking.“
“Awesome food at this place. I'm so tired of the same old bland tex-mex food (i.e. red / blue iguana type food). This was so refreshing to eat some flavorful mexican food that wasn't so overtly americanized. The two chefs working the kitchen deserve every one of the five stars. Waiting staff was definitely understaffed unfortunately. I loved the aguachile verde, the tropical tuna ceviche, and the coconut shrimp. I definitely will be coming back.“
“This place is always great and so is their food! I love their sweet pork nachos, burritos, enchiladas and quesadillas! Anything with that yummy sweet pork! ?Also, their cinnamon tortilla and tres leches cake are amazing! The employees are always pretty friendly but especially Omar, the manager of this location! He is always fast, enthusiastic, friendly and seems to really care about the establishment!!“
“I have nothing but good things to say about Alberto’s. I often forget to eat due to the stress of being alive and there is nothing better than sinking my teeth in to their breakfast burritos. Any of their burritos for that matter. But the mini bean and cheese is like half a pound and it’s $1.99. Their beans in general just go so so hard. If I were you I’d get the egg, potato, and cheese…WITH beans. Get a Diet Coke too. That’s how you make a good thing even better.“
“The salsa is awesome, like great flavor, great spice, just yummy. The chicken and cheese flautas were pretty bland which was a bummer. The servers were very attentive which was nice but the place seems cramped and the music a little too loud for the small space, especially on a busy night.“
“Mi Buena Vida has the kindest staff that truly understands the menu and sabores. Thank you for the knowledge that y'all present to your guests. The bowls of pozole are full of warmth and notes of spiced flavor! All the unique fixings for blending.Gorgeous postres, deserts with sweet memories.“
“If you're looking for authentic Mexican food this is the place to go! I get the asada huarache with cactus and it's so delicious and huge for the price you pay it's well worth it. Bean and cheese burrito is great and huge. It's a small humble family place.Kid-friendliness: They have kids options as well“
“Very impressive. This place was absolutely packed, line out the door, and full waiting room. Waited about 40 minutes… absolutely worth it. I got the Parrilladas for 1 (it’s for 2 on the menu, but I asked and they had it for 1). It’s tex mex without any loss or skimp on the Mex at its best. Will be back often.“
“What a great dining experience. Expectations were high from listening to Hans Olsen and Scotty G on KSL 97.5 the zone doing remotes there. From the warm salsa with melted cheese to the incredible burrito I ordered, everything was as advertised. It's very clean and well ran. From seating to the server, all were pleasant and hard-working. The pricing was in line with comparable restaurants. I drove from the south end of the Salt Lake Valley and thought it was well worth the drive. I'll definitely go there again. Suggest you try it out.“
“Excellent authentic Mexican food. Service was spectacular. Didn't catch the name of the gentleman that helped us but he did an exceptional job. Small hick up on my order and he fixed immediately plus gave me a churo for the wait. Not to many places have service like that. Thanks again from “
“This is a great pace to eat. A few month ago I was at the Park in Rose Park and this incredible scent was in the air. After the game my wife daughter and I went looking for it and El Senor Pollo on 700 N just opened up. It was so good a buddy went the next week. Then, unfortunately, I forgot about. In January I went carnivore for the month and remembered this place is close to work. I got a whole chicken and loved it. Great food, great service. I’m making this a weekly lunch.Try the Churros. They are fantastic.“
“Simply phenomenal vegan burrito. We ordered the veggie burrito, no cheese, add guac and add rice. It's massive, it's delicious. Potato, peppers, mushrooms, beans and a whole lot of tasty! Massive burrito! We split it. The red salsa is mild with bomb flavor.“
“My husband and I dined at House of corn at its new location off 200 South in Salt Lake City. The food is fabulous! We will go there again. I had the battleship Pastore style taco - They did not skimp on the fresh pineapple. The parking spaces right in front of the restaurant and in the middle of the lot seem to be free of charge. But many of the edge spaces appear to be paid parking spots. That could be a drawback for the restaurant’s future success. The restaurant is located on the south end of the 7-Eleven.Vegetarian options: I’m sure one could order a meatless option.Dietary restrictions: The options can be ordered to fit a vegetarian, dairy-free, and/or gluten free diet.Kid-friendliness: Family-friendly set-up.“
“Now how do you rate a place that you've had the opportunity to eat at over the last 40 years. At the current time of writing this I'm very happy and grateful it's still here. The food is good ,the portions are awesome and the reminds me of better times. It's not salty , the food is close as your going to get to for the amount your money is going to pay. I always do the smother of three on the chicken burritos smothered with cheese on fries and extra Verde. It's still homey for a hole in the wall and at the moment will give most Mexican restaurants a run for its money ,portion and quality. Hospitality has never been short on this place for sure..“
“Incredible service. The man working the cash register displayed incredible customer service and was diligent in making sure the food was safe for peanut butter, nuts, etc. The carne asada burrito was delicious and highly recommend if people are in Salt Lake to stop here.“
“Upon entry of the building, the group I was with was greeted by warm welcoming staff. All of us enjoyed our food and the follow up from our server was professional. We were very well taken care of. Personal discretion strongly suggests a solid recommendation for anyone interested.“
“Best tacos in the area. I ordered both the steak and spicy pork tacos, really well seasoned and always made fresh. Their aguas frescas are also a major selling point. The watermelon and mango flavored ones were delicious. The place is fairly small, with 4 or 5 picnic-like tables for seating. No AC so it is usually a little warm inside. Kept pretty clean. The few times I've ordered from there was in person. It does seem like they take orders over the phone though. Normally my wait for the food was around 15 to 20 min. On Tuesdays they have reduced pricing on tacos which is an even better value than their already well priced menu.I would recommend it if in the area.“
“Tasty tacos...tons of meat options but my favorite is the tripas ?❤️??Parking: In the Smith's parking lot...Kid-friendliness: Plenty of kid food options...Wheelchair accessibility: It's a flat parking lot very little thru traffic...“
“The owner is a distant cousin, Mexican and Peruvian, and the best carnitas cake with its fries and, in the cold, a perfectly good coffee. The owner is a distant cousin, Mexican and Peruvian, and the best carnitas cake with its fries and, in the cold, a perfectly good coffee.“
“This place has some really good, authentic mexican food. The 7 mares was very flavorful and had a generous amount of seafood in it. The camarones empanizados also tasted great and were very well seasoned. They had homemade tortillas as well which was a nice touch. On top of that, the service was excellent and very hospitable. Definitely recommend this place for authentic mexican food.“

“Tacos are delicious. I did fish and short rib. Minor complaint would be short rib should be cut as it's very difficult to eat. Otherwise I would recommend as the value is great and service was quick. There is seating available inside with a lot of drinks options that I forgot to take a photo of. Simple decor but comfortable enough for this type of joint.“
“Wow! I'm blown away by this restaurant. I came by on a whim, just trying to check out new Mexican lunch spots, and I'll definitely be coming back! The service was super friendly, everything is clean and tidy, and the tacos were the best I've had in the block. Thank you for the great experience!“
“I photographed a wedding and they had Tacos Don Rafa cater and I was so impressed, the food was so so so good, the service was great, the line of people went quickly and they were some of the best tacos that I had had in a long time from a business!“
“Most of the time I've got food from this place it has been via DoorDash, but I have eaten in the restaurant once and used their drivethru a couple times. I'll just say the food is good with large portions, but the building and atmosphere leave a lot to be desired. Want simple but good Mexican food? This is the place in SLC!“
“The truth is that I like that it is a place where you can cash a check or send money in a very easy way for Latin people.Although the restaurant has few variations of food, I can say that what it sells is delicious, the sale of sweets of Latin origin is excellent ?.“
“This restaurant has authentic Mexican food. 99% of the patrons are Hispanic. Spanish is spoken as the preferred language but the waitresses are very nice and delivered our meals without a mistake. The menu has great photos. The food was hot and delicious. The burrito and enchiladas were large, tasty and delivered promptly. I am going back for sure.“
“Francisco's is one of my favorite Mexican restaurants. The food is delicious and fresh, great service.I don't love the salsa. That's my only criticism. Highly recommend the Carne Asada tacos, they are so good! But, I haven't had any entre that I didn't love.“
“I have been missing good Mexican food since I left Texas. I have been searching and searching for 9 years and finally found somewhere that doesn’t make me miss the Mexican food in Texas. The hand made tortillas are hands down the best part!“
“Unbeatable food & service! Have been a patron at multiple locations and have never been disappointed. Always fresh, friendly and easy to navigate. Affordable for the whole family. If you’re looking for something different but still familiar, visit Sabor Latino ?Kid-friendliness: Lots of family size tables, they host events and catering“
“Just moved here a couple weeks ago, and it's already my favorite spot. It's so good I'm looking for a place nearby so I can eat here often. I'm weak on my Spanish, but eating here is making me practice on it alot. The staff is super friendly and accommodating as well. Amazing restaurant and amazing food by amazing people!“
“First time I’ve been to this location and Alex was fabulous!!!! He helped my friend and I with our tray since our hands were full with our babies, he got us forks and napkins, cleaned up our tray after and was over all so kind and sweet with our kids! We also heard him offering to grab drinks for other people and told some teens to be careful in the street on their way out. Alex truly is so kind and generous and he deserves credit for all his hard work!!“
“Great! Called a head, had my order ready. The tacos come with just the meet, but then you can pick up veggies bags for free to add to the Tacos, along with some good salsa. It is a little hard to see from the road, but googles got their location down.“
“I’ve come here so many times I can’t count anymore. I rave about this place all the time as I feel it’s so underrated. El pastor tacos combo is the way to go. Their corn tortillas are the best and my husband is gluten free who normally hates corn tortillas but he loves theirs. Both locations are great and I’ve never had an issue with staff like other reviews say. The cashier tonight was super friendly and kind. I’ve never had a bad experience food or service wise.“
“This place is a gem! I recently visited with a friend who had been here before and the food was delicious. She suggested the chips and guacamole, it was next level yummy! We both had the shrimp tacos, again delicious! Food was very fresh and beautifully played. Our server was very attentive. All in all I recommend this spot.“
“I don’t have a picture because these vampiros were so amazing they were gone in seconds. Highly, highly recommend! The location might not seem appealing, but give it try. You 100% will not regret it.Possibly the best street tacos in all of Utah!“
“This Oxaqueno restaurant is really good. We tried their popusas, and they were good. I tried the grasshopper popusas, and it was weird. I did not find any flavor, but I just wanted to give it a try. The empanadas de leches are good; the horchata oaxaqueña and atole de elote are good. The place looks clean from the inside, and the customer service is great.“
“Cute little restaurant on 9th and 9th Street! My friend and I both got what we’d usually order at a Cafe Rio/Costa Vida, and we agreed that this place is better than either! I got a simple taco and my friend got an enchilada. The people here were super nice and spoke in Spanish to my friend. It’s also a good vibe, there’s an outdoor area to eat as well. Would recommend!“
“The smell drew me in initially. It was divine, even through my mask. The cook was so friendly and patient with me as I decided what I wanted. The prices are unbeatable. There's a flock of birds always nearby but that adds to the feel of the place.Best tacos in town! Im a fan.“
“A lovely place, the touch screen menu was very easy to use, and had lovely pictures of the food. I got a quesabirrias combo which was delicious! The wait was what one would expect for quality food. (I came by about an hour and half before closing, not many people were there. I loved the innovative cooler with toppings so that I could add my own! The sanitizer bottle was also full—almost everywhere just has empty sanitizer bottles but not this place!“
“Hands down the best tacos in Utah. The salsas are perfection, the toppings have good variety, however the star of the show is the beef. The meat is juicy, tender, and very flavorful. The service is always great and the owner is very nice. The location is also very convenient. Authentic and flavorful! The best tacos in Utah!“
“This place served great food, wonderful friendly staff, easy access off the main road with lots of parking too.Thank you, Manny & and staff, for a wonderful lunch. I heard lots about your delicious food before I came & you did not disappoint! Would've had more photos if I wasn't so busy talking & eating!“
