“To preface—my family is from a city in Mexico, Guadalajara. It is kind of difficult to impress me when it comes to trying new Mexican restaurants. Real Taqueria did not disappoint. My partner and I both got burritos, they were huge and so delicious. We both got them smothered, mine with Chile Verde and the other with Mole. The Chile Verde was delicious and the pork was high quality. The mole was also delicious. My partner is vegetarian and got the veggie burrito, while I got asada/steak. Once again, the meat was great quality.I can’t wait to go back to try some actual tacos. The workers were wonderful and you can tell that they take their time to send you home with a great meal. I have been thinking about how delicious their salsas are for the last 3 days now! They have great veggie options when compared to other Mexican restaurants with drive-through service. We’ll definitely be trying the jalepeño tamales and the nopalitos tacos next time.Vegetarian options: Nopalitos, jalepeño tamales, vegetarian burritos, quesadillas“
“California certified taco lover her. Portion size is phenomenal, for once I actually got what I paid for which is amazing! I wish the carne asada was seasoned a bit more but we live in Utah so it’s whatever. They were out of onions which would have helped but that just shows how good they are if they’re running out of essentials. 10/10 would recommend to both friends and enemies. Some of the best tacos in SLC!“
“Excellent food. Excellent service. But the music...ugh! They were playing disco and 80's pop music kinda loudly. But, just as we were leaving they had some really cool Buena Vista Social Club come on. Would definitely be 5 stars had the music been Spanish while we were there.“
